My a.c. unit stopped blowing cold air this week. My complex manager notified me the entire unit needed to be replaced. While doing the work another issue was discovered: there had been a leak which caused more damage. Dallas & Eugene to the rescue. They arrived early this morning & promptly began working to fix the issue. Within the projected window of time original they were able to repair the damage & replace the unit. They were pleasant & polite while here & made sure the work was done to my satisfaction. Living in Tampa means having A.C. is essential. I am so appreciative of these two men spending their Saturday morning here to fix my issue. Great job!
Nothing but praise from me! Placed a MAYDAY call to home warranty company yesterday at 4:15 for a major plumbing issue. Spoke to Tiffany at US Heating this morning, and although they did not have the dispatch order from the warranty company, she was caring enough to go ahead and set up an appointment for today. I was told the technician would arrive between 3 and 6 pm and the tech, Ian, was at our door at 3:45. Problem is solved and we couldn't be happier. US Heating has been sent to us before (thru warranty company) and each service call has been handled with kindness, courtesy, competence, efficiency and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. BIG THANKS to Tiffany and Ian!!! You guys rock!
If you want a company that will give you a 4-6 hour window for a tech then call you in the last 30 to 45 min to 'confirm' this is your company; make sure you have nothing to do other than sit and stare at the phone, because if you use the bathroom or have to change your kids diaper and don't answer your phone they will give your appointment away. 'Customer service' is abysmal and honestly they neither want to earn or keep your business. If none of these are detractors for you this is a great choice for home repair needs if they are a would explore other options.
I rent a condo and our water heater needed replacing. My landlord picked the company but I had absolutely zero problems setting up times or them being here on time. Gary and Tim were extremely kind and professional and worked well around the small space and my toddler. They were very accommodating and my son didn't want them to leave! I will use them for myself if needed in the future.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! The only reason that I have used this company was because American home shield sent them out. Before they replaced my compressor that went bad, they came out 2 times before and told me that nothing was wrong. The replaced my compressor and charged me for 8 lbs of Freon. The issue that I called for originally has never been fixed. Now after having another company come out, they have confirmed that USHAC never cleaned the lines, and apparently that should be routine when a compressor is changed out. I Specifically asked if I would have to pay for Freon again, and he told me I should not have to pay for Freon again, they should be able to reuse the Freon they put in a couple months before, that I paid $285.00 for. I had to call USHAC back since it was originally their mess up. They were suppose to be here between 11 and 2 on Tuesday, at 3 o'clock when I CALLED THEM, the lady advised they were running behind and would not be there until after 7. She then called me back at 6 and told me it would have to be Wednesday before they came out. When the tech finally arrived, he confirmed that his co worker should have in fact cleaned out the lines. Since this was not done, it has caused another part to break in the unit. He did not have the part on the truck. The tech advised he would order the part and return on Thursday to replace. When I called Thursday afternoon to confirm the appointment, the NASTY lady on the other end proceeded to tell me that she did the scheduling and ordering of the parts and she had not order my part yet and NO he would not be there! I called American home shield to advise them of the issue and the rep there couldn't have cared less about my issue. When I called her on Friday morning to confirm if they would be out, she advised she had a full schedule and best time she could be there would be Monday between 11 - 2. I explained to her that I have been without air.. in FL.. In August and this was due to her company's mistake and asked her if she could make good on this before the weekend. She said .. Sorry I am booked! By this time, I had a nervous breakdown because it is SO HOT in my house. Later that afternoon, we received a call from American Home Shield and they left me a voicemail telling me that I would be responsible for paying for the disposal of the old Freon and then responsible for paying for the 11lbs of new Freon. All because they did not do their job originally! REALLY.. and now you are charging me for 11 lbs of Freon when the original visit only called for 8lbs. I have since called 2 other companies and they have confirmed they should be able to use the Freon that is already in the unit. DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO COME INTO YOUR HOME.

"Waiting on this, or that, will call you back by end of day". No callback. 12 days later now, Called. "Waiting on pricing". 18 days later, Called "Waiting on pricing". I can get pricing myself within 1 day, which means a company that does electrical work 24 hours a day should be able to get it within 3 business days (but most likely within 2). This company seems (by the reviews) to have a track record of just bad customer service. I genuinely give company's ample time to get things right, and I gave them multiple opportunities to make this work out, but they provide no option except for me to not recommend them.
Great place to work ! Leadership has improved 100% Mike Irwin is very punctual on getting jobs and bids out to our clients. All the staff is on top of there game on giving great customer service. The plumbing service has some inspiring employees that care about there jobs,not just for a paycheck ,but as a career choice ! Great job guys . Electrical department is another punctual and professional trade that we offer great people . A/C department is going strong with employees that care about there jobs and customers. Thanks for all the hard work everyone . Keep it up and we'll strive and exceed to great rewards. Let's all welcome the new general manger and congratulations to Brandon on his new adventure within the company.
Would rate 0 stars if actually possible. The woman who works in the office is rude and the company's workmanship is just plain BAD. I have a home warranty company who paid for a brand new unit inside and out less than a year ago over the last few months is has been running non stop and having difficulty keeping up. I called another company who told me that Us heating and air was responsible for 12 months parts and labor. Called US and they said call the home warranty company to put a call out. The home warranty company sent someone else who confirmed poor weld on copper tubing and a leak that has probably been their since day 1. Now US Heating an air refusing to honor warranty and said once the county inspects they are off the hook. I argued with the horrible woman and now am caught in a situation I don't like. No A.C. in the heat of summer and an incompetent company refusing to honor a warranty that my insurance company says are responsible. My advice is to NEVER use US Heating and Air.
They were able to fix our AC unit one time after our apartment maintenance guys had been out countless times. Jim and Eugene were great and got the job done well. Eugene was especially polite and kind.
