Action Air Conditioning, Inc - AC Repair Tampa

I have been a customer of Action Air Conditioning for over 11 years. Recently Christian performed my yearly tune up. he was very professional and efficient. he is just the most recent tech that has provided excellent service to me. A very good company to do business with.

I was referred to Action Air by a neighbor I trust. They installed our AC almost 2 years ago. The system has lowered our electric bills even as we have greatly increased usage (my elderly mom from up North came to live with us and we keep it very cool). It also has a great warranty. Earlier this week Mike, Aaron & Ricky came and replaced all our ductwork. They were very helpful, answering all of my questions with patience and explaining things in the detail I needed. Mike went around to make certain everything was working just right and that that I was a happy customer. We had a minor issue which was promptly dealt with. Thank you, guys! Highly recommend!

WOW! We can't say enough about Action Air Conditioning! From the owner David coming out late in the evening because we were in a bit of a crisis with our old A/C...to Joyce in sales and installers CJ and Dillon....these people are first class! Our A/C story is long but here is the short of it. Our 12 year old Trane was failing in many ways but it was David that found there was either a motor or module issue at the heart. Along with a leaking coil. We had to decide whether or not to replace the whole thing or parts over time. Joyce helped us decide on the wiser choice of buying a new 3.5 ton Lennox with a 5 year worry free promise as opposed to spending nearly the same amount on parts n labour to do patch work on the existing unit. Two days later we have a brand new fabulous frosty A/C that works better and saves more. CJ and Dillon were the installers. They were polite and professional (even after spending hours in a furnace of an attic!)...quick and efficient. They went over all their work with us and it could not have gone smoother. All and all everyone that we dealt with seemed genuine, professional and honest. Their transparency and hospitality seems to be a rarity these days and we highly recommend them!

Great service and knowledgeable team. They provided detailed options. Once I selected the system, the installation was scheduled within 1 day. The installation crew was prompt and took the time to explain things to help me understand the benefits of the system. Parker, CJ and Ricky did a great job.

I had to give one star just to get this message to post or else it would have been NO Stars what so ever. This place is a complete rip-off. Especially for the elderly. My poor elderly mother has lost several thousand dollars fixing things that were never broken last year. This unit is only 5 years old. They call and schedule a maintenance check and when they come. they do nothing. This time they told my mother she needed new coils for $4,000 even when the air was working just fine. I had another company come out and they found NO maintenance has been done. Everything was still full of cobb webs, dust and dirt which shows it has never been services as a maintenance visit. Someone broke the circuit breaker and just created a bypass of exposed wires. Action Air is the only ones that have been to the house. Turns out she was not in need of new coils, she just had a small leek and has been fixed using a sealant. Again, the air was working fine before they came out, so after my mother told him no, 2 days later no air. Just needed Freon. My husband and I think the man got mad and leaked the Freon out so he will need to be called out again to fix it. Then he could use that as an excuse to pay for new coils.

Once again, Do NOT use this company. It is just a rip-off.

We have used Action Air for 10+ years...... Highly recommend the yearly service. Today I realized how ethical and honest they are. My elderly neighbor lives on an extremely low fixed income. Redcap was out and told her she needed an entire new airconditioning system. Action Air came out within 30 minutes...... Did a service and removed a clogged drain..... My neighbor is sleeping cool tonight. Highly recommended!

Action Air Conditioning has serviced my A/C system for about the last 9 years. I've always been pleased with their service and I'm sure the annual tune up is the reason I've always had trouble-free service . Joandy G. was my technician today. He arrived on time, was very pleasant and set to work promptly. Joandy was extremely thorough and showed me some mold growing on the condenser fins. He left the work site clean. I am very happy with today's experience.

Anyone who lives in Florida knows, or can imagine, how bad it is to have AC issues in July/August. Mike from Action Air Conditioning did a FANTASTIC job for my Family. He was efficient and clearly explained all of the steps he was taking in diagnosing and repairing our AC issue. The person I talked to at the office was also very helpful. All together from calling in our issue, on a Saturday morning no less, to having the problem resolved took less than 5 hours. Kudos to Action Air Conditioning and especially Mike K. for a job well done!!

Many times we used Action air for service at our Church and Mike was there to help us . His knowledge and work ethics are superb.
We also had Action put a new unit at our home .They did a great job everything was done in a neat and workman like manner.
We are well pleased with Action Air,there knowledge,workmanship,and promptness in there service.

Want to thank Matt B. for resolving my incorrect Lennox 7500 thermostat reading, which has been going on since my the installation of my A/C unit. Matt was very professional & friendly during this service call, and really appreciate his resolve. Also, I want to say a Special Thanks to Steve for his yearly maintenance on my A/C units for these many years. It,s employees like these 2 reps which have kept me as a loyal customer.
