AirNow - Ac Repair & Installation

We’ve used Air Now for both small and large jobs. They have always been prompt and efficient. Most recently I needed urgent help with very small window of time. At first glance the best they could do was two days out. But instead they went out of their way to get a technician out late afternoon the same day I called. THAT IS VALUE ADDED SERVICE. Thank You Ashley and Jake.

Arseniy was very professional in performed the P/M checkup on our AC/Heat unit. He was very polite and courteous, explained in detail what P/M services he had done. Excellent peoples and communication skills.

The service was outstanding. The sales manager and installers were all outstanding and professional. They did an outstanding job and provided a 10 year warranty. I will recommend this company to my family and all friends. Greg Grannan is an outstanding salesman, with an great back ground and experience in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. Philip was the tech that worked on my mother in law’s house. He could not give an estimate because he didn’t have his glasses, so he borrowed a pair. He left with those glasses. Yes we can get new glasses but when the office was called on 3 separate occasions and NO one called back. We feel this is unprofessional behavior. Everyone works so getting to the store to get new glasses is an inconvenience and my mother in law hasn’t been able to read, which she does most of the day. Just feel someone should have called.

The technician was on time and very very nice to speak with. He knew what he was doing and when he was finished he came and explained to us everything that he did To the system. These are the people you want to use for your air conditioning needs I have total confidence in them

9/22/2022: Update of service.
The Technician Arsen has improved my negative thoughts and review of AirNow. Arsen was on time and clean and professional in appearance. Arsen did an excellent job servicing my air conditioner and answered a few questions I had. I decided to enter into a new service contract because of Arsen. Will request him for my 6 month service.
Update on Review: Received a call from Air Now saying the maintenance agreement I purchased for over $340.00 when my unit was installed has expired. It was a fast year for sure. I asked why I didn’t get the 2 inspections that I was supposed to get so I knew if I needed new filters. I can’t check it as my unit is in the attic which why I bought the maintenance agreement. She changed the subject and said she will schedule someone to come out to renew the agreement and look at the system. I told her they need to bring a filter with them as the paperwork I received doesn’t have enough information for me to by one and I didn’t receive the information I asked for in the beginning. I would not recommend Air Now based on my experience but am willing to give them a chance to prove they are more professional and not taking advantage of older single ladies. System was installed today. Technicians Rocky and I didn't get the other Techs name were on time and pleasant. I asked to see the unit when it was brought down from the attic and as I wondered there was not mold inside the blower only on outside and external components. Phillip did say that the components could be replaced but it would be cost effective to buy a system because the warranty would cover future issues (I do doubt that warranty will cover future issues). Tech did show me the spots that had mold. Oh well, Phillip couldn't see the inside only his opinion. I was surprised that my compressor was a down grade from the previous one and for what it cost I am a little disappointed. Always require that they give you all the information instead of just "System". When you buy a car they do tell you that it has an engine, transmission and tires along with the specifications. Phillip did call me and answered my questions and said he would email me the information I asked for. Techs cleaned up debris and left. So I don't have to replace it again in 5 years, I will get a maintenance agreement (partly because the filter is now in the attic and I can't change it and the humidity in the attic I think I need to stay on top of the serving to possibly avoid VOIDED warranty).
Previous review with date corrected: I bought my home in Oct. 2020 and wasn't sure when the 2016 HVAC system had been serviced last so I scheduled appointment. Phillip arrived on time and was very pleasant and thorough in the inspection of the Air Handler in the attic of my garage. He came in and showed me pictures of the unit and explained that the unit and electrical are covered in mold and recommended a new unit be installed. He said the 10 year warranty was only for the original owner and was void due to lack of service. I agreed to getting a new system put in. The 4 rating is because the proposal has very little information on it regarding what is getting installed. Only says York 2 1/2 ton Heat Pump and 5K Heating Output and Seer 14. When I called Phillip to ask him for more information on the agreement he said "When you buy a car they list engine, transmission and tires on the bill of sale" and that I am getting an entire system. As I said that is my only comment at this time as I am getting the unit installed tomorrow.

Daniel was very thorough and knowledgeable. And very patient.

Since I can't leave a new review, I will update this one a year later. Rodney D. serviced our unit under our service contract, and did a fine job. These folks are always professionals, and we have used them for years. They are always courteous, and friendly!

Jim V. was professional and courteous. We have used this company for many years including a full unit replacement. We have always been happy with the way we were treated, and do recommend them to family and friends!

He did an outstanding job,he explained everything was very professional and would recommend his services to all my friends he is truly a good technician who should be rewarded for the outstanding work he does ,I hope the company gives him top pay because he is an asset to Air Now . We need more people like him ,he truly goes above and beyond makes you feel you are in good hands with the work he does.Thank you.
