From the start, our technician, Travis C., was courteous and professional. Travis worked diligently and with great respect for our home and equipment. He explained everything about the status of our system, the work performed, and things re-check in a few months. He installed a REME HALO in-duct air purifier (superb unit by RGF) and explained its operational characteristics for the short term and long term. Travis made sure all work areas were restored to their original condition. We highly recommend Burgess overall and Travis specifically. We sincerely hope Travis continues to be our technician for many years to come.

Burgess installed our Heat & A/C system and handler last July and it is working great. Our prior system worked constantly during the summer to maintain 80° and now we can enjoy home life in the 70s during the summer. The A/C system they recommended works amazing. We called several businesses for quotes and Burgess gave us the best price by far. That made us happy because we live down the street from Burgess and love to support local business. They made another loyal customer.
I do not recommend Burgess Heating and Air. They installed a unit at our property which started leaking water above our pantry because it was tilted and then they wanted to charge us $700 to re-install it. The installation manager Mike wouldn't even return my calls or come out and look at it. Very unprofessional.
Service man arrived early which was nice. As soon as I explained what was happening with the AC he seemed to know exactly what the issue was and he fixed it! There was no hard sale on sales or services I didn’t request. It was quick and painless! I highly recommend Burgess Heating and Air.
Burgess tech showed up on time and did a great job of getting my Old A/C going again. Burgess rebuilt the compressor back in 2014 and it has been running great until last week. The contact point failed so the tech replaced them today and the compressor started right up. Great job.
At your Tampa area location you Service Manager, Gail was FANTASTIC . She went out of her way late in the afternoon to find us a part that solved our air conditioning problem. We have an infant and didn't want him going through the terrible heat and she truly understood and quickly solved our problem.She is a person who really cared . The person who installed the correct part, Thanh was terrific! He went out of his way late in the day when it was boiling outside to finish the job and he did a great job. I will definitly ask for him in the future , he was great. Its because of people like these two that I'll keep coming back to Burgess.

They were even comforting to our new Labrador retriever rescue.
Kirk came out quickly to fix my AC and save my house from melting from the heat. Super professional and a really nice guy, he had my AC blowing cold air quickly! Very happy with the level of service I received and would definitely do business again!
So our home warranty company uses these guys. We got home on a Friday and realized it was 91 degrees in the house. We put in a request and these folks call us. They let us know they could not be there until The following Monday afternoon, almost 72 hours away. We asked if there was anything else we could do to get service sooner as we have pets and kids and highs are expected to be in the high 90s this weekend. They explained the warranty company did not pay for after hours service calls. We could not just pay the difference, they would not budge. Instead I got a hold of a buddy who explained it was probably just the capacitor. 11 bucks later my AC is fixed and in 3 months when my warranty is up, I can assure you I will not call these guys. I have seen first hand how bad their customer service is. So we have cancelled our service call and now they get paid nothing, hope $0 and a pissed off customer is better than whatever they would have made on the call.
