This business was great when we purchased 7 brand new units in one year from them but after that they treated us horribly. They don’t value or appreciate their customers and the company lacks family owned business values. When a system goes down, it takes weeks to get the parts and they get mad at you for asking when you’ll have AC again. We will never use Burgess again. The technicians are great. But the office staff & owner are unprofessional and don’t return calls.
Brandon Averback provided expert quality service. He was extremely knowledgable and efficient, beginning with diagnosing the problem to providing the solution; honest and very competent! Also grateful to John Bosser for spending so much time with me on the phone during a crisis situation. Thanks so much for your guidance, patience, and expertise!
This company is great. From the service people to the installers and the office staff they are all great. They installed a new AC unit for us and what a neat job on time and explained everything. We couldnt be happier. Thanks again.
We are new to FL and this was the first time using this company's services. Brandon Averbeck is the young man that came to service our unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We give him 5*. He let us know how much other services we inquired about or he recommended would be and we did have him do the coil cleaning. It saved us quite a bit doing this within the maintenance call vs. stand alone later. We are also going to be scheduling the blower cleaning. Great service call.
That said, the cost associated to the coil cleaning, even at the discounted amount, I believe is too high for the actual work required to clean the coils. Really the only benefit is the liquid/product used. Outside of that, the work itself is too simple to justify the fee charged. Maybe in a different unit it may be a little more complex of a process but in our unit, outside of the product, all that is needed is a little patience and soft brush. Had I known that was "the cleaning", I would have questioned the $80 charged. I'm hoping the blower cleaning for $280 is something more complex and thus justifying that fee. The pricing is the reason this review is not a 5*. The price for coming out was fine.
Whoever does Burgess hiring needs to be paid well! Every single employee involved in my new air conditioning unit installation was kind, courteous, and professional. Billy is AMAZING!
The Burgess team was very quick to respond when our old unit went out. Michael (sales) was great at helping select which replacement unit we would choose. The installers (Billy, Kevin, and Evan) were knowledgeable, professional, personable, and efficient. I would highly recommend this team to replace HVAC equipment.
What a wonderful experience with this company! My system was down and Kirk came out ASAP to make sure that I was back up and running. Customer service and response time were incredible and now I have ice cold air again! Five stars every time.
