Absolutely appalled by the lack of knowledge of my Tech. Appeared to have no understanding of the system. I had to supply tools as he did not even have a simple flat blade screwdriver to remove a vent to retrieve his phone that he dropped into my duct work. Started to tell me he could not do the job because he did not have a heat gun. I did. Got it for him.. never used it, instead changed his mind to use the heater of the unit. Requested from dispatch that refrigerant be on hand has it had done the same thing 3 years ago. No scales to do that job either. Called around to other techs looking for one... none showed up.
After having to retrieve him multiple times from his truck (just sitting in it on the phone) to tell him the system is shutting down because of a slow drain during a defrost routine, and after hearing sales pitch after pitch about maintenance plans, and fixing other areas in my house, I finally just threw him off property. The commercials may be funny, but the service is dreadful!!! Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a service company for your needs.
Update: And the Cherry on top... After sitting on hold for almost an hour to their Customer Service Department.. I got redirected to a full mailbox.
"That's the Frank Gay way!" La la la la....

I purchased a service contract for one year, they did a good job of calling to schedule a maintenance call. I guess I thought there would be some sort of actual preventative maintenance on something, cleaning ducts or something. I just felt I paid someone to come out and sell me. Then I get a bill like I signed up for a reoccurring service. I really didn't like that as I would not have signed up for it.

He called prior to visit and gave me the eta time. Arrived with a smile and accessed the situation. Gave me options and worked to do repair. Professional, courteous, and friendly. Did a fine job updating my system. Am happy with the job. But plumbing is expensive no matter who you call.

Josh Glenn from this company was assigned to the task. He was spot on in identifying the issue and resolving the issue very quickly. Josh was very very professional and I will ask for his service next time I have an issue. This was not the first time I have worked with Frank Gay, any issues with plumbing by default I call them.

Extremely overpriced. A technician worked 2 hours to replace a 8 foot section of PVC water line with two fittings. $2,200!
$1,100 per hour! Wow

Follow up: Their customer service representative offered me an insulting, $220 to buy my silence. To get it, I would have to remove my post and sign a " customer satisfaction agreement". The job they did should not have been more than $300. I've been a construction manager for over 30 years. I know what plumbing repairs should cost.

The process for setting up an appointment was awesome, tech showed up on time and did a great job. Unfortunately they found a warranty issue with my compressor and wanted $2,300 to replace. The parts are covered under warranty and I asked how long the job would take: 4 hours. $500 an hour to do a warranty job? Unbelievable. Come on guys, be reasonable.

5/16/23 Update: A customer rep did contact me and proposed a refund of my initial fee if I took down my review. Absolutely nothing was said about the issue I encountered. I post Google reviews to share my experience, not to get money.

He explained everything in depth to better help me understand what was wrong and how I could prevent future issues! I would love to recommend him for my future maintenance needs!
