I called Cool Today about having a ceiling fan repaired. They sent Jordan the very next day. He arrived on time, was knowledge and very professional. out the very next day after I called. While it may not have been a very big job, it was big for me!
Jordan explained what he was doing and why. He also took the time to review some other services that Cool Today offers as well as some service plans. Overall I am quite pleased and will certainly be using them again!

Patrick A. Came today and was so kind and knowledgeable he spent time explaining the different types of AC units and really took the time to explain and help us understand our options. Had them come out for routine system maintenance. Albert (my tech) was awesome. Walked me through everything they were checking and offered some suggestions on extending the life of my A/C unit. If you are looking for a reliable, fair, and honest company, then you need to call Cool Today

We contracted with Mr. DiDomenico of CoolToday for the year by taking advantage of his “TotalCare Today Home Partnership Plan/TcTHPP.”

Today the 3rd of 3-divisions of the company came to our house, represented by Mr. Nelson Renderos. Nelson came to do our “Initial Inspection/II” of our A/C & any subsequent maintenance, if required. Nelson arrived at 1000, the scheduled time and departed at 1525. It is important to know at this point in this review that since 10/2015, every 6-months we have had an A/C Service Provider come to our house & do the 6-month checkup of our A/C! Based on what I observed today, what was reported to me today by Nelson the other 2 companies that provided the service prior to CoolToday could learn & benefit from the attitude, professionalism, & dedication to staying on the task at hand that Nelson demonstrated.

Nelson started off by having a conversation with me to get the history of our A/C, which was installed in 2014, while we were living overseas. After that conversation Nelson went about doing the “Initial Inspection” which ran from 1020 -to- 1220. It turned out the “IP” also includes various Preventative Maintenance/PM activities:
 securing the capacitor on the outside unit to include ensuring its placement is not interfering with other equipment,
 running water & sucking out the water with pressure from a shop vac so that any “gunk” in the drain line is removed,
 taking readings & documenting those readings with pictures that were shown to us, explained, & then emailed to us,
 securing all loose wires in the outside & attic units, &
 cleaning the pan that sits underneath the unit in the attic
as a brief list of what Nelson did.

Upon completing the “II/PM” Nelson had identified 4 areas that needed attention:
1. the blower fan had never been cleaned,
2. the capacitor registered at 40 & should be 45,
3. replace the UV light & install location, &
4. given the static pressure reading, consideration for another return to be installed.

On #4 above Nelson explained why & that a specialized team that will come out and provide a quote for the work.

On #1, #2, & #3 above, given Nelson clearly explained his reasoning for the work & the cost which we concurred & asked when it could be scheduled? Nelson stated he would do the work now, I signed a document & Nelson went to work & stayed working until all 3-tasks were done, documented in writing, & pictures provided of the completed work. Before Nelson left, he took pictures of our small & large air filters & advised that under our plan 2-frames will be built & mailed to us with 6-disposable filters for each of the 2-frames so that our monthly changing of the air filters with my current lifetime filters, that require cleaning, can get a rest for the next twelve months because the plan is going to provide us the foam air filters in the custom made frames.

After Nelson left, my wife directed me to ensure when the next 6-month PM is due, that even if I must write the owner Mr. DiDomenico that she insists that Nelson is the A/C Technician that she wants in our home.

As I stated, this was the 3rd of 3-divisions that came to our home, & we are incredibly happy that we signed up for the “TcTHPP” & could not be happier with the response from the Electrical & A/C divisions of this company.

In the world of honesty & transparency, we have run into a problem with the Plumbing Division, which now has turned out to be quite the disappointment from a management point-of-view, not technician point-of-view but hopefully it will get resolved.

Despite the issue we would still recommend this organization & to get the best for your hard-earned dollar, the “TcTHPP” is the only way to go. Note – before you schedule any service, ensure you get the “package” that is produced, with a personalized message from the owner Mr. DiDomenico so that you are aware of what you are entitled to under the plan before any service is provided. Ours came after our first plumbing service and we were not as educated, as we are now, on what is expected from all the 3-divisions.

Get great service on their maintenance plan for our unit. Frank Chavez came out today and took a lot of time to clean the unit, fully inspect everything, showed me pictures, patiently answered a lot of general questions I had. Great attitude, very polite, and took pride to do a great job. Thanks, Frank!

I purchased a new construction home, wanted to change out my stock thermostat for Google Nest Digital. I purchased the Google Nest from Home Depot who referred Cool Today. They gave me a waiting window for installation of 12pm to 6pm. Service Tech arrives and immediately tried to sell me a $400 Service Plan. Then tells me he will look over my new unit while I read over Service plan. I informed him I only need to change out 1 pièce. He refuse to change out my thermostat unless I purchased à plan........ Please RUN From Cool Today

Frank was wonderful. He took the time to educate me on things that I would need to keep up on. Any issues that came up, he offered to fix and got everything done without an issue. I hope to have him again at my next maintenance check up. Cool Today is highly recommended!
