We have used Alexander for about 15 years. We stumbled across them about 15 years ago when we needed a second opinion after the rip off artists “One Hour Air” left our home with a $9,000 quote to replace a 3.5 ton system for a 1,600 square foot house. Alexander rolled in and told us they were nuts we hired Alexander to do the annual maintenance and for 10 years it ran great then we took a direct lightning strike in 2017 (a week before Irma) and lost everything electrical, they replaced our entire system for $3,500.

Every time they come out for maintenance it is quick, clean, and affordable. The crew is second to none and Pam, oh Pam. Every time you speak to her you know YOU are her only concern.

This past Friday at 10:00pm our Nest told us we had no power to the red wire (no air) and no air in September in Central Florida equals torture. I cleaned the drain monthly so I knew it was not the overflow. I called them at 10:30pm and got the answering service. Great by the way. They said they would call just after 8:00am, and guess who called? Pam! She knew exactly who I was, our history, and said give me 30 minutes, we are on the way. Mind you Saturday morning so I am thinking hmmm…as well as $$$. But we did not have a choice.

At 8:35 the doorbell rang and I met John for the first time. Great manners, very professional, and he had us up and running in 1.5 hours with a full system check. All for $140. What??!!!! I was astonished at the low price. Anyway, if you live in Central Florida and DO NOT use Alexander you are missing some serious brain cells. They are truly awesome!

In this day and age of extreme mark up ON EVERYTHING they could easily have given us the once over. And given the situation, we would have paid. But they did not. Integrity, quality people, quality products. They are incredible.

We began using Alexander Air upon moving into our new home, based on our neighbor’s recommendation. They’ve been out to service a few times, and recently installed a new ac unit and new ductwork. Their prices were very reasonable, but that’s not even the best part about our experience with them…the people are. Every employee who has come into our home has been professional, kind and helpful. We’re very happy with the service they’ve provided thus far, and we will continue to be loyal customers.

Alexander Air Conditioning and Heating has been taking care of all of my home's heating and cooling problems for over five years in a highly professional manner. They are prompt to respond whenever I call, have been able to address my needs and have worked with me to help control costs. This entire experience was streamlined and positive.

The person accepting my call gave me a rundown of services offered and how much I could expect to spend for a technician to come out and perform maintenance on my AC unit. They also let me now about their annual maintenance offering if I liked their service and wanted to grab a discount for repeated visits. After hanging up, I was called back a few minutes later to schedule a visit within the same week.

My technician, David Quirk, showed up on time and did a great job end to end. He showed me before/after pictures of my AC unit and attic all the while giving me tips on how to increase the life of both my unit and decrease my overall heating cost (more related to my attic insulation situation). My wife and I can already tell our AC is running smoother post service.

This was a great experience. My wife and I will definitely be calling Alexander back for repeated service.

I have been a customer of Alexander Air for over 15 years and have purchased two new air conditioners for two different homes. the price is always fair and below the competition. The service I have received has been exemplary.
Today, David Quirk was the technician. He was professional, helpful and efficient. I always recommend Alexander and know one neighbor who was thrilled with the air conditioner he bought as a result of my recommendation.

Update 6/11/2020, after I decided to try and rebuild the duct work in my attic by myself (not a professional and boy did it show)...Tony Garvin came out, rebuilt the duct, same day, and the quote they gave me matched the invoice...I really can't speak any higher about this company.

These guys are awesome and were able to get Comfort-maker to cover parts under warranty that were a couple weeks out of coverage.
Not to mention my bill was exactly the amount I was told on the phone, and $445 cheaper than Cool Now who tried to rake me over the coals!
The technician Skip was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and worked fast to get us cool - I will be a repeat customer, thanks!

Fast forward 2 years, the AC needed a pull and clean, this seemed to fix the problem, David was a knowledgeable technician and the service was performed flawlessly, once again I would recommend Alexander air to anyone in Polk County and surrounding areas. Fair prices, and same day response.

We had a home warranty company send out a different company, 4 separate times with no fix. So we paid out of pocket for Alexander Air to come out and with in an hour it was fixed. The tech diagnosed the issue fairly quickly and was great. Highly recommend them!

Great company to call for all your AC needs! Very nice and helpful customer service , they care about their customers and the work they do. Thank you Alexander Air! All of you are the best!
