Its a shame that Gemaire has not rectified the issues with Customer service at the Lakeland location.
I have visited this branch frequently for the last 12 years, and consistently walked away with the same experience.
My last visit to this store was bad, probably the straw that broke the camels back. I am a very reasonable person who understands, among the Covid debacle, we must exude some patience but.. I waited on the ramp after calling to inform a counter person of my arrival, for 15 min, then the warehouse guy, walked over and greeted me. I greeted politely and tried to inform him of my needs. All I was able to get out was "Hello, I'm here for"....when he stopped me and said "Sorry I'm only unloading trucks today" and proceeded to walk into a semi trailer that was not attached to a truck, to begin unloading equipment.. So a customer onsite ready to spend money is less of a priority than unloading a trailer, mind you it was not attached to a truck, so there wasn't a driver waiting on him, which I would have understood.
Then, their counter person Jack makes an appearance through the warehouse doors, no greeting, no acknowledgement of my presence or the fact of "Hey buddy I see you are here and will address your needs in a second" nothing. Jack proceeds to load somethings on a pallet and drive it out to the dock and sets it down for the customer to unload, and quickly walks inside again.. to stick his head out of the door 9 min later "what you need"
I informed him, and he eye rolled, said "follow me" so I obliged as he walked into some double doors while asking him "through these?" and he pointed to the other set, and again I obliged. I informed him of what I needed and that I had been speaking to Brian, (which is the only person at this branch that is friendly and always helpful, and the only one I would not target this review at) and what I was trying to accomplish to meet my customer deadline, Again with the eyeroll. It felt like I was bothering him so..... Got right the F... up and left.

Done!!! with this store, if I call and get anyone but Brian I'm hanging up, ill incur/absorb the cost of sending my techs to Tampa not to deal with Jack's total lack of customer service. Why should my company spend any money at this location? Why should I pay to be treated poorly? The total ineptness of this employee is infuriating. I regularly get visits from Gemaire reps trying to earn more of my business, empty promises of improving that store, ect. ect. As we enter 2021 my brand offering are going up in cost, and will be looking at other options, however my company will never sell anything that forces us to use Gemaire Lakeland as a distributer. I will continue to do my purchasing from their competitors. I am not asking to be coddled or stroked, or trying to come across as a "Karen" but the good ol' boy experience isn't cutting it! step in Gemaire and make some serious changes at this location, if you'd like to experience growth at this store....

Don’t greet you when you come in
Warranty claims are a nightmare they always say it’s out of warranty or wrong customer name
Never have any of these problems with any other supplier that I deal with
