I am writing this to do anyone a favor that is searching for an AC Company in the area. DO NOT US CMI!! They are awful at every phase including customer service, knowledge of the technicians, and not standing behind the work they do. One of their techs left a flow-switch unplugged in the attic on my last service call and flooded my ceiling, They took no responsibility in trying to fix the issue, When called out to look at it, there tech tried to tell me that it was a dirty filter and tried to run out of my house with the old filter as evidence for something. He has no class whatsoever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Worst service department ever. They installed a new unit at my home a few months ago. I'm happy with the unit and the cost savings. But when the technician was leaving he said he needed alto install a new circuit breaker and didn't have the correct one, ok no problem. He said someone from the service department would call me and schedule another appt to install a new breaker. So no one called me, a few weeks go by and my AC starts making an unusual noise. I called and made an appt for a technician to come out and install this new breaker and check out the noise. The tech shows up WITHOUT the breaker, and tells me that the install techs had under serviced the coolant in the new unit and that he had taken care of it. No charge, so that was good. But I got the same story about the breaker, someone would call me. Never heard from them. So I called them and was told someone would call me back, that was over a month ago. So I called again, this is the third call now, and I was told someone would call me back. That was 4 days ago. At this point I really don't care about the breaker. My AC is working fine, although since they said I needed it I would like to have it. Just really disappointed in the service after the sale, I wouldn't use them again. There are plenty of AC companies out there, and I can't imagine they could be any worse, so it's worth a shot to call someone else.
My A/C seemed to have quit so, I called CMI. Randel came out and greeted me with a professional handshake as he asked me how things had developed. He understood my description. He then investigated, diagnosed, fixed the system in what seemed no time at all. Randle and CMI really saved me worry, time and money. They’ll keep me coming back!
CMI made a maintenance visit to a condo below mine on the first floor. As soon as he did that, I started hearing banging, gurgling noises upstairs every time the downstairs a/c cycled. For the past year, since the downstairs unit was renovated, the noise hadn't occurred but before that, they were happening for just about 20 years. Darren from CMI was called back the next day and by adding a u-shaped trap to the line by the handler on the downstairs unit, Problem solved. No more noises. A 20 year-old problem that no other a/c company I hired could solve. I told Darren he was my new hero and I called CMI to tell them. I'll be calling CMI and requesting Darren for my own a/c if and when needed.
Khocalate Kreme is on the scene at 412 Huron place West Palm Beach and yes he did his thing, very professional polite and knowledgeable, he's a excellent worker. Great job khocalate Kreme.
Your tech was out to troubleshoot a problem at the shoebox I rent a week or so ago. The problem was resolved and I thank y'all for the prompt service! BUT..... the air handler was cut open and wasn't put back the way he found it. My Wife asked me every time the unit shut off....What's that noise? I thought it was the 1970's galvanized filter frame dropping when the unit shut off. I paid no mind to it, until I was beside it when it shut off. It was the front panel poppin' loose cuz the tape that was cut to diagnose the problem wasn't re-taped.. In My Pool, Spa repair business I leave stuff the way it was if not better even if it's a troubleshooting call. I'm not bitchin'. Just an FYI.
Hard but good work. They don't pay enough for the value of your expertise. Materials are but the pays not. Should be 30 bucks an hour for fitting out million dollar homes.
Great company. I would not even consider using another a/c company even if it was less expensive. Always professional, courteous and on time. Always came the same day if a/c not working. What more can you ask for?
