Terrific service from start to finish!! CMi really sets themselves apart from others in the industry by being a modern, professional company with old school principles and values. A lot of companies will be quick to cut, us consumers, "deals" but then don't stand behind their work when a problem arises. I've yet to be disappointed by CMi or any of its personnel. Had to call for a recharge. I had the pleasure of meeting the most polite and professional service technicians I've ever experienced. Her name was Lauryn. I have them come every year and they have to add refrigerant and wasn't very happy with the technician. She gets five stars.
Our a/c failed in the middle of summer, so we called CMI to have it checked out. They sent a tech the same day to temporarily fix the issue so we could make it through the night. By next afternoon we had a brand new energy efficient unit installed. Thank you for your excellent customer service! I have referred many friends and will continue to do so. I would most definitely use CMI again in the future.

These guys were recommended to me by an electrician that had come out to diagnose a problem that turned out to be a burnt relay switch on the AC. The tech who came out said at a minimum, we needed to replace the switch, the blower motor, and a capacitor for $500-$600, but he recommended that we replace the whole system because it was almost 15 years old. In fact, the system was replaced in 2011. Luckily, we had another company come out and give their opinion. They replaced the switch, checked everything out and the unit is working as good as ever ($200 to repair). I cannot recommend these guys, and if you do decide to work with them, proceed with extreme caution. In my opinion, it's companies like this that give their profession a bad reputation. The 1 star is because I can't leave 0 stars
I was not alerted by the office staff as to when my project would commence , removing existing Ducting and replacing to include new registers and a dehumidifier. Late last week the salesman Mike Carlson called to say they were arriving Monday morning, not sure if the girls had called me. I said. “ no “ what can I do to help prepare? Mike responded , clear closet access. I was not given communication on how many days without air or days to complete.. only 2 men arrived and as I was asking a few questions one could not understand my English . They planned in fact on leaving me with A/C for 5 days in order to dispatch only 2 workers . One I could not communicate with . When requesting more crew and easy communication they pulled the job leaving my home upside down with preparations for ceiling coming down in order to cut/replace registers... registers ... and rescind /cancel permit I have waited for . Do.... what is a contract to CMI ... one way?
House sitting for Mom without any AC was no fun, but my brother-in-law came through with a recommendation to contact CMi. In less than two days (counting time to obtain the needed parts), CMi got the AC up and running! I want to give a shout out to Elliot, CMi's technician, and Darla in the business office for taking care of business so responsively.
I have rental properties and I have to change 2 air conditioners between a short period of time. We purchased them and had them installed by this company. Sadly both units have been nothing but trouble, requiring service every 4 months or so since installed. The previous air conditioners were old, but before replacing them, we didn't have the kind of trouble we are having now. CMI has not really done anything to help me with the lemons they sold me, but charge me hefty invoices every time they have to come to fix them. Very unhappy with the units.
