    Called about an AC issue ... they were able to get someone out there sooner rather than later, everyone was so nice and helpful. Showed up on time and fixed my issues. Never had a bad experience with them since they installed my unit in 2016!

    Northeast Florida A/C made it easy to make an appointment right away, that fit my schedule.
    The tech, Kevin, couldn’t have been better.
    He arrived during the designated time, and was professional, courteous, and efficient. He also was knowledgeable and patient, answering all of my questions.
    He didn’t leave a mess.
    The home we purchased had an
    A/C upgrade, an air purifier; but it didn’t work. Our senior community takes care of repairs, service, and replacement of our A/C system. However, since the air purifier was an added upgrade, it wasn’t covered. We had a similar air purifier at our previous home, and wanted one here, especially since we have pets.
    We were prepared to spend hundreds if dollars to replace the air purifier unit; but Kevin was able get it working great; perform maintenance, and save us a lot of money. We only paid the minimum service fee, less than $100!
    Our senior living community uses Northeast Florida A/C; and I see why. I couldn’t have been more pleased; I highly recommend Northeast Florida A/C, and Kevin. 👍🏼😊

    Lightening struck our house on June 13, 2023 where me and my 90 y/o mother live; we are both disabled. We must have air conditioning, especially my Mother who is on oxygen. I won't take time to list every way NORTHEAST FLORIDA HEATING & AIR take advantage of me and my mom, so I'll only give the worst examples.

    When the tech arrived I told him that it was most likely an AC condenser board, yet he spent 8 hours over 2 days doing "diagnostics" and the problem was in fact the condenser board which I had asked him to please look at first. NORTHEAST FLORIDA HEATING AND AIR charged us $450 just for the "diagnostics" which he mostly spent on his phone out in my yard. The tech told me that the board was a "special order" and could be anywhere from $200-$600 and they could have it later in the week! The following morning, I was quickly emailed a form from NFH&A saying the part would in fact cost me $600, then urging me to order the part quickly so they could get it fixed for me whenever it arrived. This is when is became suspicious about the predatory tactics that were being used to take advantage of Mom & me. Northeast Florida Heating & air targeted 2 disabled old people to take advantage of.

    I called another AC business that I was referred to by my neighbor. The tech arrived in 30 minutes. He instantly zeroed in on the problem, being the condenser board. When I ask how much and how long his answer shocked me. He told me that the board was under warranty and didn't cost anything and he had the board right on his truck. The whole fix took and hour and a half and cost me $177.

    So NORTHEAST FLORIDA HEATING AND AIR was poised to charge me, conservatively, $1,300. Over charging me $1,125. NORTHEAST FLORIDA HEATING AND AIR used predatory tactics to take advantage of me & Mom.

    On time and good value. Guys worked really hard and never stopped. They were able to repair the system at a fraction of what a new one would have cost. I thought I was going to have to replace the system and was prepared for the cost and told them so. The guys inspected the system and found some minor repairs needed. Honest quality repairs.

    I picked NE based on reviews and their years in business. Hunter was prompt and professional, and handled the issue quickly. The diagnostic cost was waived as a repair was made and the final cost out was great. Great company as far as I am concerned. Highly recommend.

    Dave, my technician was great as always. He has serviced my AC many times. Always texts to let me know when he’s on his way. He explains the problem in a way I understand and gives me the options to repair. I generally get a service visit within 1 or 2 days of me calling the office. All staff are super friendly and helpful. I trust what they tell me and they always do quality work.

    Got these guys to come up to fix an AC system that wasn't blowing cold air. They came out on time and did the work but they charged me 650 to change a capacitor. A capacitor costs 20 dollars. I wouldn't be that upset if it worked. 2 weeks later the unit stopped working again. These people are crooks. Called them and they didn't offer to fix their mistake. They said they can send some one out on Monday. Well it's Friday now.

    UPDATE
    I found out my motor is burnt out. I guess their hacky way of fixing the capacitor burnt my motor out. The motor costs 800 dollars! Do not let these people touch your system.

    They came out and fixed the motor which is cool but this is how they did it. It doesn't look very professional.
