The young man who replaced my ductwork and did various associated repairs did an excellent job. He single-handedly took care of the entire job that I’m sure usually has at least two people on task. After the job was finished, there was not even a tiny piece of insulation or trash left behind. Very respectful and impressive!
Chris was very knowledgeable and personable. He did a great job and offered some good advice. I would highly recommend him and Mid-Florida’s HVAC services to anyone needing help with their HVAC systems. Thank you for a job well done!
Called an made an appointment for 9am next day after my AC went out. They called 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me they couldn’t come out until 3pm-6pm. By the time I called other places they had no appointments available. Super unprofessional.
Stephen was dispatched when we came home to find our A/C frozen. He explained clearly and patiently what was wrong and what our options were, gave the information I needed without being pushy. The next day he came back and installed the necessary part. At every step he was polite and clear, worked efficiently and unobtrusively, and improved my confidence in Mid Florida Heating and Air.
Zane was terrific. He is very nice, knowledgable and professional. He arrived on time and we were kept informed of Zane's service schedule as he worked his way through other calls and got to our call. Mid-Florida is more communicative than ANY other repair or service company of any kind that we have ever worked with. When our AC failed last night, Mid-Florida had someone to take our call immediately and get us prepared for a morning service call. We do need a new AC. Mid-Florida has exactly what we want - the best - and is working with us to get it installed a.s.a.p. We couldn't ask for better service or better people!
James was the technician who came out perform my 6 month service for my AC unit. He was courteous and professional. He explained the basics about my system to me, and even gave me tips for keeping the unit running at its best. I would like him to be my permanent technician moving forward. :) As always, I'd like to thank the Mid-FL Heating and Air team for always being top notch and going above and beyond for their customers. I have been with your company for about 5 years now and I know I have the best service!

I have nothing but good things to say about him and the company. Heather the gal that answered the phone for new customers was very well-coached, Pleasant and nice to work with. Other than being a little expensive, just like everything else, I don't have a bad thing to say about the company. It was a very pleasant experience!
I would steer away from Mid-Florida Heating and Air (had bad experiences with them and they notoriously do not register the equipment they install with the manufacturers they expect the homeowners to do it -this is NOT industry standard BTW so if something goes wrong you won’t be covered under manufacturing warranty.) They also installed a thermostat that was not functioning from the beginning, it worked only as and “on/off” switch. When I told several technicians this, they just blew me off, even telling me, I would need to purchase several small thermometers and place them around the house to prove the thermostat wasn’t working (which I reluctantly did). When I finally got another company to come check the thermostat, a new technician walked in and said immediately, “You know there’s a known set of problems with this unit don’t you? I had one myself I just replaced. Let me replace it today no cost, it’s under warranty. “ But then he couldn’t, because Mid-Florida didn’t register the $700 unit when they installed it! So I just bought a newer less complicated thermostat, and it actually works now and things are much more regulated in my household now that I have a unit that works and technicians that listen:)) When I called Mid-Florida to explain what happened and to see if they could provide any compensation since they had made the original mistake and had ignored my complaints, they said there was “nothing they could do for me”.
Excellent service and very professional. Explained what he was doing and why. Very informative on new codes and units. All around great experience. He did what he was called to do. We could not have asked for a better service tech. We will continue with his service and when in need of additional work. Wes even took the time to make sure our dogs were comfortable.
I’ve been a customer of Mid-Florida for over 20 years. On the maintenance program they come out every six months, which has kept my system running without any problems for years. They always treat me professionally and fairly. Good communicators all around, from the office as well as technicians. A trustworthy company.
