Our thermostat stopped working, and the weather forecast had a cold front moving in that evening. Jamie arrived on time and was very professional. He installed the thermostat in a timely manner and was very courteous. This was done on a Sunday with no overtime billed. After dealing with them for 6 months, I would NOT recommend them!
Jamie had been our service tech in the past, so I already knew his work. He got there on time, and had called ahead to let me know that he was on his way. He went right to work with the task, did the job, and was very efficient and professional. Good man.

They do NOT stand by their word. They stated in their ad that they would refund the service contract payment if they have to come out again for the AC within 6 months. Not only did they not do that...I had to call repeatedly to ask to get this refunded. I signed up with them due to the ad stating that if they had to come out within 6 mos of their service that this fee would be refunded. I had to call them out about 4-5 mos after their service for my AC unit. I called multiple times and finally a manager promised to refund it when they came out for their next maintenance agreement. They showed up and had no idea that the maintenance agreement fee still needed to be refunded due to poor communication amongst the managers. She offered to refund me the prepaid service agreement fee that I had paid in advance for future work and not for the prior service agreement fee and wondered why I was so upset. (I made the mistake of paying for an entire year in advance for both of my units. She offered to cancel the service agreement and pay me back for the incomplete work.) Why make me wait 1-2 mos to refund me for the service agreement fee when the ad explicitly states that if they have to come out, it will be refunded with "no questions asked." Their quote for my AC unit repair was $1000 more than the 4 other companies who came out to give me a quote. I decided to go with a different company because all of this was dishonest. EVERY SINGLE repair person including their own said it was the worse leak they had ever seen. How did they miss this when they did maintenance? I had another company doing maintenance for a while until I saw their ad. I am so angry that it has taken so long to get a refund for this. They should have made this right instead of making me hound them for the $69.50 fee. Why would I spend thousands on repairs or a new AC unit when they act so shady about $69.50???Their repair estimate was $1,000 more than all the other companies.
The office staff is very pleasant to deal with. Mid-Florida Heating an Air knows the true meaning of customer service. When I first contacted them I was hesitant due to their size. However, I quickly learned that they are the best heating and air people to work on your system. We were very impressed with our last semi annual maintenance man. He knew his job and he did not go into the high pressure sales mode and attempt to sell you stuff that doesn't do anything or add value to your system. Yes they are a big company...but one that knows customer service and how to make customers happy.
Mic-Florida installed a completely new A/C system in our church sanctuary, they also cleaned, and sealed the ducts and did it all in one day. We were very pleased with the work
Our pleasant experience began with the salesperson, Annette, came to our home. She was so informative, eased our minds that a new system was not going to put us in the poor house. Annette asked questions about our lifestyle and needs so that the system we decided on fit us. Mid-Florida called to tell us that the system we had ordered had a dent in the unit and they did not want to put a damaged unit in our home. Our install date was a very hot day - we dreaded hearing that the installation would be put off. However, Mid-Fla technicians drove to Jacksonville to pick up a new unit and drove all the way back to The Villages and worked until late to give us comfort. They went above and beyond! We would highly recommend this company to everyone. We found Mid-Fla to be professional, honest, reliable and we feel peaceful about our decision and the quality of their materials and work.
We love Mid-Florida Heating and Air. Vincent came out today for a routine maintenance visit. Like all the techs that have come out to our house he was on time and professional. He did great work, and gave great advice on how we can keep our system running smooth.
We have always get excellent service from Mid Florida. Scott did an excellent job, friendly and knowledgeable. Always feel like we get our moneys worth from everything we have had done by your company.
Do yourselves the favor of a headache and frustration, and don’t ever use Midflorida AC!! Worst customer service!! We had a new unit installed last year, and the new unit continued to give us the same issue. We called them out for MULTIPLE service calls within the year after getting it, and they never could find an issue. SAME thing happening again and because we’re 2 weeks outside of the year warranty (even though they see the many times they’ve already been called out) they are charging us $100 to come out again! Year old AC and it’s not working. Such a shame 😡😡
