We have been with Mid-Fla. for many years now. On Oct. 29, Chris Vinson was the technician. We were impressed with how hard he worked to clean the air handler where a snake had crawled in & died. Not only was he thorough, he was skilful & knowledgeable when he replaced a capacitor. Chris is very personable, taking time to explain things & to answer our questions. We hope he comes to our house each time we are due for a check-up.

I had a very nice experience with the technician named James E. He appeared to be knowledgeable and skilled concerning his job. The installers for the HVAC and furnace were professional quick And did a great job. After the installation there was an unforseen problem. After diagnosing the issue, the company covered the entire cost of repair.

Mid-Florida Heating & Air sent Zane the same day we called. He quickly assessed our heating problems and we were able to schedule repair within days. The crew that replaced the unit had some troubles but they did not leave until the unit was working properly even though it was getting late on a Friday night. The price did not change at all from the estimate and we are happy with the results. It does get cold in Florida and we are finally warm again.

Our air system went out on Thursday evening about 11:00 pm. The next day we called mid Florida and they sent a repairman out Friday evening. He was very sufficient. Didn't take long to repair the problem. It just happened that it only needed a compositor. We were charged $89.00 just for the service call.that was ok. Then we were charged $252.00 for the compositor. After we scrapped up the money to pay the bill we went online and looked up the part. For the $252.00 compositor they charged, turns out that it was only a 16.00 to 20.00 part. Wow what a difference from $252.00. they really did rip us off but good. We will never use this company ever again and I will make sure that every one I know never uses them either. I plan to post this on every place I can possibly go to let everyone know what they have done.

He gave helpful tips what to look out for in the future, should anything ever go wrong.

Shawn arrived at the house exactly on time and performed the scheduled checkout and maintenance quickly and professionally. He took the time to explain the renewal of the maintenance agreement with respect to long-term costs and recommended what I think was the option best for me. I appreciate that he wasn't trying to upsell me on things I didn't really need, and because of that, I will stay with Mid-Florida to keep up with my HVAC system. Shawn's practical and theoretical knowledge of HVAC systems was evident as he explained his recommendations. He represented himself and his company very well.

James was very professional. He educated me on our HVAC system and the work he needed to do on our heating and air conditioning system. He did a thorough cleaning job and cleaned up after himself. Great job! I would like James to continue to be my technician in the future.
