Julio did a great job of completing the install of our new AC / Heating system. He had to engineer a method to connect the existing larger heater vent to fit the newly installed heater. Bottom line, he was successful in his effort. He then took the time to walk me through the features of the system, how the UV light works, the thermostat settings regarding humidity, and left me feeling good about the entire new system.
Our experience with Tim was completely positive and happy. Tim showed up at the house early and was ready to work. He was replacing an existing compressor unit that was very heavy and in a very tight space. He accomplished that in a short time and with minimal damage to surrounding plants. Tim was very patient with all of our questions and gave answers that showed the breadth and depth of his knowledge. He will be welcome back at any time and we will certainly request that Tim be sent for any future AC work at our house.
If I could give them a half star I would. We had them install a new AC unit in July of 2018. In May of 2020 the unit stopped working. They did come right out to take care of the problem, that's where they should receive the 1/2 star. The problem was that the capacitor had died. The technician claimed that this happened so early because when they installed the unit less that 2 years earlier they neglected to install some other part. The service fee, 2 new parts, warranty processing and labor came to just shy of $600!!! We contacted Mid-Fla about the bill, stating that the reason the capcitor went was because of an error on their part, and we shouldn't be sattled with such a large bill We were happy to pay the $267 for the start assit that should have been in the original install, but if they had installed everything properly in 2018, we wouldn't have a $600 bill. They verbally agreed to refund us for the capacitor ($147), but never followed through. We have made 6 phone calls to them since May, and no one knows what we are talking about, and no one is available to handle this issue, but they assured us that they would call back. They never called back. They did however, finally, mail us a check Oct 30 2020, for just over 1/2 what was verbally agreed/expected. Upon receiving this check I started calling again, asking wherer the rest was. I did finally receive a call from them stating that that's the best they can do. So, for the fact that we have been trying to get this issue resolved for so long, and they have not held up their end of the agreement, I give them 1/2 a star.
I was having major trouble with my Ac Corey was sent out and Corey investigated my ac drone A to Z working on my unit and that were correct if it was gone be done Corey was the one to do it. He checked everything that was suppose to be done he listened to all my concerns before and after and In between work Corey told me not to worry I got this. Corey worked great and very understanding. Thanks Corey
Was helped by James E. He was friendly and prompt while also willing to explain all the steps he was performing. He suggested possible upgrades without pushing them. He cleaned up after himself and treated my home with respect. Would recommend to others
I had my AC serviced today and my Heat checked out by Shane N . He was really Friendly and got the job done in a timely Matter. He gave me Great info As to how to take good care of my AC Unit... Keep up the Good Work Shane N.. See you again in about 6mths Thank You Mid Florida for Hiring Great Employees...
Cory J. was very knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I was hot, due to no A/C and angry, since the unit is less than 2 years old, when I called for service. Cory came to service our A/C, was patient, courteous and took the time to explain things to me. I would definitely want Cory to be our tech of choice.
Vincent Patterson, was a true professional and a great representative o Mid-Fla. They do have a few that are company hustle first. He provided help and performed the service with care and understanding while providing the information that was provided with easy to understand conversation.
Outstanding service. Very polite and efficient tech. Did a nice job in tuning the unit up and getting it ready for the winter. Shane was very knowledgeable about the system. He came prepared for any type of service issue. I will request Shane in the future to service the system.
We had a new system installed at the beginning of this year and Monday night it made this awful noise. So my husband called and asked for them to come see what was going on. Mid-Fla wanted to come out that night and my husband said no it could wait until the next night. Well Kaleb came out and after checking everything found that our drain tube was backing up. He fixed it and all is well. Kaleb was very professional and pleasant. He didn't even get upset or annoyed by our dogs who are more viscous sounding than anything. We have been very please with Mid-Fla from the beginning. From the girls who answer the phones to Travis White who helped us get our new system, to the guys who installed it and to Kaleb for coming out in the rain to fix it for us. Thank you Mid-Florida Heating & Air you guys ROCK!!!!!
