The installation crew arrived right on the scheduled time. The went to work immediately. Our house is an old Cracker house and not the easiest building to install modern equipment in, however they accomplished the task in a very reasonable time . The system, has been in operation now for three months and functions very well I in both heating and air condition . My monthly electric bill has dropped to just over half. Nee3dlessw to say I am quite pleased and comfortable.. Bertie Heating & Air Conditioning rates five Gold Stares.

This company has been extremely reliable and professional. I have used them since moving to Florida in 2011. I had them install a new system in 2014 that has proven so efficient that it has saved me nearly $100 per month in electrical billing. It is a pleasure to deal with their very polite and well-trained technicians. I recommend them highly.

Worthless. I am not the homeowner, I am the lessee. The owner insisted on using these bozos. Bertie checked out my AC unit and the inspector left unsure what was wrong and said that another person would need to come out to assess the problem. No problem. I set it up and the person never showed. I called and left a message for someone to call me back and set up another time. No one called and I forgot all about it. Two months later, my AC unit breaks. I call Bertie and they set up to come back out and assess the situation - AC unit needs to be replaced. Fine. I set up a time the next day at 8:30am for the guy to come out and determine the size of the AC unit that is needed. The guy shows up at 9am which would not be a problem except that I work for a living. Bertie calls the owner, who okays the sale. All that Bertie needs to do is call me to schedule a time to install the unit. No call after two days. I had to call them so they could make a sale. This company is absolutely terrible with communication. I do not recommend them unless you like holding their hand throughout the job.

Yes I am your customer. Your office lady called me last week and asked me to renew. I told her exactly why we would not. You guys replaced our motor and at that time of service we signed up for maintenance. You came out once and then I received a call last week asking if I want to renew. I just checked my receipt and definitely you guys.

While trying to sell my house...my Air Conditioner was beyond repair. I received a quote the same day. Even though they were a bit higher than their competitor I still hired them on! They contract for Lowe's! They came on Friday to give me a quote, by Tuesday afternoon, the old unit was removed and the new one installed. The two gentlemen (I didn't get their names) were so kind and helpful, and whoa were they hard workers! I'm very happy with the whole team over at Bertie Heating and Air! I would recommend them to anyone needing a new a/c. One last thing, I had no idea you are suppose to pour a cup of bleach in the unit every few months. I just learned something new! LMC

We have had several ac issues and we called berties and they came out quick and on the same day! That’s the positive part. The negative part is that they overcharge for everything and don’t charge hourly, they charge per job and it’s a small fortune. If money was no object, I would say call them but if you don’t want to waste your money there are plenty other cheaper options that are just as good! Really wish they would charge fair prices and they would be a great company!
