I've used Bertie over the years, however this was the best experience ever. Ryan was so professional and did an excellent job explaining the current and next step. He wrote a very detailed invoice to include recommendations and future service need. He also showed me some techniques to do some self service. I will never use anyone else but him.

I have been using the Bertie folks since 2009 when they installed a complete new A/C system. They have the most pleasant Customer Service and go out of the way when you call (even if it's the end of the day) to send a technician over the same day. So, I stay cool in the Summer and Warm in the Winter without any downtime! Every technician has a good attitude, and they are all polite and knowledgeable, too. I would highly recommend signing up for a maintenance contract as there are many benefits for doing so. Give Bertie a call and they'll tell you why!

Our contractor used Bertie A/C for our new home construction and we couldn’t be more pleased. Their employees Ray and Marvin were extremely professional, accurate and very hard working in the awful heat of July! They were knowledgeable, honest and even cleaned up after each and everyday. I had Bertie this week doing a yearly maintenance check and also to fix a problem with one of our older systems that came with the house. We have 3 air conditioning systems at our house. TJ was the person who did both jobs. TJ, like all Bertie people I have worked with, was efficient, professional, and friendly. He really did great work. I have used Bertie for years and they have always done a great job. I keep thinking one of these times the other shoe will fall - but it never does. If you are looking for a reliable and reasonably priced heating and air conditioning service, Bertie is it. I highly recommend them.

I was impressed from beginning to end with Bertie's replacement of my home's air conditioning unit. The technicians - Eric, Brandon and Nick, were very well mannered and did a professional job with the installation and were very knowledgeable about the new unit. They arrived on time and left everything neat and clean.

Several years ago, my family purchased a home which needed to have new air conditioning systems. We contacted Bertie's, along with a few others, and had them come out and give us estimates. Their salesman was nice and gave us an estimate on 2 Goodman systems. We decided to go with their company and had both a 2-ton unit and a 2.5 ton unit installed costing us $7,333.
Unfortunately, when we received the bill, we found out the tech did the paperwork wrong. When we contacted the company, they told us that the salesman was no longer working for them, but after much persuasion, they fixed the billing/payment error.
The salesman told us when he gave us the estimate that we had a 10 year warranty on both the systems and labor, but at a later date we were told that the labor warranty was not covered because we did not have the systems regularly serviced by Bertie.
When we had another company come out to do some work on the system, they found out that the 10 year warranty from Goodman was not valid anymore because it was never registered with Goodman. We were NEVER told by the salesman that we would have to have our units serviced by Bertie in order to maintain the warranty, and we were NEVER told by the salesman or installers that we would have to register our systems with Goodman in order to maintain their warranty.
Shortly after, we had to spend $1,204.00 to repair the system they sold us because the inside coil went bad. We had that replaced, and the next year had to have more repairs done costing another $100.00. We were then told that the condenser coil had gone bad on one of the outside units, and it would cost another $2000.00 to have that repaired.
From the beginning, the systems they installed ran constantly and never really cooled our house sufficiently. When we contacted another Goodman dealer, we found out that the original systems Bertie sold us were not large enough for our house - they had mismeasured. The systems were constantly running, which not only ran up our utility bill tremendously, it made the units work harder than they were intended to run and led to their ruin.
We had to have both systems they installed replaced with the correct size for a 2,500 square foot house, costing us yet another several thousand dollars.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed in these circumstances. I wrote the company with my grievances and never heard anything back. With one of the biggest names in town, it would be expected that their people would do the job right and that their salespeople would be knowledgeable about the products they are selling and know how to measure accurately, and that they would fully disclose everything required of the customer up front.

This is my annual check up of the Heating and Air Condition units that Bertie install for me 3 years ago. The system is working great today just as it did the day it was installed. Steve came to check the operational values and he explained everything clearly and completely. He was very personable and professional. He had suggestions for maintaining and improving the system without any hint of sales pressure. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Great service. Shawn was our technician. He was very polite and professional. Explained everything clearly and respectful of our property performing his duties with minimal disruption to our family. We have an annual service contract for HVAC maintenance which I recommend.
