The tech was on time. He texted me before he came that he was on his way. When he arrived he was very professional. He answered all of my questions. He took care making sure not to leave a mess behind. I highly recommend air ref.

They are an excellent company and Aaron was Very good at what he did.
He is very knowledgeable and assisted me with all my questions.

Had a new AC installed today. Anthony and Ian were absolutely wonderful. Air-Ref is a company I would recommend to anyone. We go back a few years. That have always treated me honestly and fairly. A few years back, I had an AC company actually rip the serial numbers off my old AC and told me I needed a new AC when I didn't. Air-Ref was recommended as a second opinion, and they went above and beyond to maintain my AC for the last four years until I finally needed a replacement, which happened today. And there was a bonus, they left my garage (where my air handler was) cleaner and nicer than when they came to my house this morning!!!! Thanks so much guys!!!

Just had a new AC unit installed by Air-Ref. They continue to exceed my expectations. Researched several companies and got a number of quotes. Air-Ref was right in range. David explained my options. He was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I never felt pressured. Once I signed the contract, I had an appointment for installation the following day. The 3 men took about 7 1/2 hours to complete the job. They were professional and pleasant. They worked efficiently and answered any questions I had.
They cleaned up well after themselves. Believe me when I say the area looked better after they left then before they arrived. They even saw that I did not have a cover to my attic crawl space and cut a piece of heavy insulation to put in its place. That is above and beyond in my opinion. Another great experience with this company. Will continue to use them for maintenance.

Been using Air-Ref for years. Great company! My unit stopped working today and they had someone to me in 3 hours. The technician was very knowledgeable, respectful, clean, and did a great job. My house is back to 74 degrees in this Florida Summer! Definitely recommend them to everyone out there :)

We used AIR-REF for the install of a NEW LENOX HVAC system. The system was never installed properly from the start and was never fixed. After a year of many failed attempts (see timeline below), we began getting billed for the service appointments since our warranty was up. The issue was not solved solved by Air-Ref.

1st time, 1/22/20, We were told the system was working at high speed, and they had to change the parameters.

2nd time, 6/10/20, they found "a bad blower motor"

3rd time, 6/15/20, System had Wi-Fi issues and a clogged drain.

4th time, 6/16/20, evaporator fan motor was replaced and water vacuumed from pan.

5th time, 8/10/20, safety drain switch had the system off and another clogged drain.

6th time, 8/10/20, stat adjustments were made, unit was still not cooling correctly.

7th time, 8/27/20, unable to get a good T/D and thought there must be a Bad TXV.

8th time, 9/2/20, issue was with an undersized return duct, and plenum was collapsing internally. Corrosion found on the AHU control board and needed to be replaced.

9th time, 9/2/20, they completed the new TXV.

10th time, 9/10/20, new control board and thermostat installed, but still not able to get more than 13 T/D.

11th time, 9/11/20, replaced the return air duct with a hardboard.

12th time, 9/17/20, manufacturer LENOX was contacted, it was determined issue was internal with compressor and a replacement condenser was needed.

13th time, 9/26/20, new condenser was installed.

14th time, 11/10/20, Air-Ref found both systems were down again.

15th time, 3/3/21, Lennox tried a new wire which failed, it was determined that we needed a new HOBE thermostat

16th time, 3/15/21 the E30 HOBE was installed.

Michael M was very thorough with our AC check up. He made some good suggestions about changing the filter more frequently because of animal hair. He was also very neat and professional.

I made a call on Saturday around 6pm to have an emergency visit this past Sunday. I have used this company since 2003.
I was told my appointment was between 8 AM and 10 AM. When I didn’t get a call by 10:30 I called and they told me he would be out there in another hour or so. The tech arrived at 11:35am.
The tech did not wear his mask in my house and did not wear gloves. I needed my air fixed so I did not tell him to leave. I did ask him to put his mask on that was sitting around his neck. I know he did not disinfect anything he touched in my house and I have no idea exactly what he did touch.
If a company is doing business in this pandemic they should follow OSHA guidelines. It does state that this company follows OSHA guidelines on their website which is absolutely not true.
I called and asked for a return phone call to discuss this and did not hear back. I did get a call saying that I needed a new air-conditioning unit and when can they come out and give me an estimate. I told him after I receive a call back we can discuss that. Still no call back. Still waiting!!

George Alves, the A/C mechanic who came today was very throughout and did a fantastic job with maintenance of our A/C system. He was very professional with his appearance, his work and conduct. You could see that he had an excellent work ethic. Very pleased!

Excellent service. Marvin was very professional and thorough. Took time to explain cirrent status of our syetem. Nice job!

On 7/29/21, Aaron did a great job in a short period of time. Very industrious and personable. A good communicator who helped me understand the issues.

We were happy to have Aaron return. Great guy. We appreciate his professionalism. It is nice to have the confidence that he is doing what is best and needed for us. We will ask for him again in August. Thanks!
