My AC stopped working so I called and they had two technicians to my house to fix it super fast. Cullen & Nick were awesome, very friendly and professional. They explained the problem to me and had everything up in running in no time. They were great!

Josh and Gavin came out to my home in Lake County to triage and repair my pool heat pump. Josh and Gavin were very pleasant, efficient, and extremely professional. They showed me the problem exactly, and went on with the repair. Everyone at Universal Heating & Air Conditioning that I've spoken with on the phone (Sandy) were also pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Universal Heating & Air Conditioning. Great company!

Here's an update from 4 days later. Thank you Josh and Gavin. Our pool heater is working fine. We received our invoice, and was pleased with the price of the repair. BTW to all, there is another HVAC company out there with a very similar name. My recommendation and 5-star review is for Universal Heating & Air Conditioning, INC. Make sure you specify this company.

Service person Josh Gilman was fantastic, very professional. I would highly recommend this business. Service was excellent, on a holiday weekend, called today left a message. Service person came out with 3-4 hours. Another unnamed professional said it would be four days. My husband just had heart surgery and myself asthma. I. Service was extremely reasonable.

Ive been having issues with my pool & spa heater not heating to the proper temperature & giving me different error messages. I called the pool company that installed my pool & they FINALLY contacted the warranty company who in turn sub contracted Universal Heating & Air Conditioning to come out to check my system.
Richard was the technician. He was super!!!! I’m a 1st time pool owner & I just wasn’t understanding why after 2 “pool school” classes. I couldn’t get my pool or spa to heat up.
Richard explained everything in simple terms. Fixed the shortage & replaced the damaged part & even took the time to teach me exactly how the levers were supposed to be positioned for either pool or spa mode.
I learned more with him than in the two “Pool Schools”! Lolol
When ever you get a new pool built, it should be mandatory to have a licensed & experienced company come out & teach “Pool School” Classes & to check the that the system has been installed & working properly. Because I can guarantee you who ever gave me the pool classes wasn't a licensed heating & A/C person. Who would’ve seen from the jump that there was something wrong with the unit.
The builder thought since the pool was new it has to be something we did to the system. After months of complaining, they finally called the warranty company & the warranty company sent an amazing company to help me. Thanks again, Richard & Universal heating & A/C!!!

I was referred to Universal Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc by my pool service company, Bud Mudd's to repair or purchase a new pool heater. Josh was on time, incredibly helpful with all his explanations, cleaned up everything and very professional with the installation. The office staff kept me updated on appointment status and quotes. Thrilled with the pricing and looking forward to their servicing help in the future!

I live on the third floor of a condo, and my AC went out due to a clog. Cullen Smith, world's greatest technician, came out and was able to get my AC up and running within about an hour. He was extremely personable, explained everything clearly, and he cleaned up when he was done. I thoroughly appreciated his work and his efforts because he was running up and down three flights of stairs and made sure everything was in working order. 10/10 would highly recommend! I even got a free sticker, and he even offered to toss an old air filter into the garbage for me. AC is working great, and I would definitely work with Universal Heating & Air again, but especially Cullen.

We were referred to Universal by Aquaworks. We were hoping the electrical pool heater could be repaired, but after Josh inspected it, he determined it needed to be replaced. He explained all of our options and we decided a refurbished unit would be best. Josh came back 3 weeks later and installed the unit by himself. He also advised us to get a solar pool cover so our pool could reach the desired temperature of 86 degrees. My friend was skeptical and said her pool has solar panels doesn't ever heat up to 86 degrees and apparently solar panels are the best. Well, our pool has been a constant 86 degrees since we got the solar cover. Josh told us the cheaper solar cover that we cut to fit would only last a couple of years, despite what it may state on the packaging. The cover was $125, but it was a much cheaper option than solar panels and it works!! He also inspected our electric panel and advised us to get a licensed electrician to replace the electrical pump fuse. Josh is truly a wealth of knowledge and more importantly, trustworthy. Universal is the only company we will call for whatever heating and air conditioning problems in our home because of the wonderful customer service Josh and the girls at the office provide! They are just good people.

After a different company came over and said it couldn’t be repaired and they quoted me 6.500 on a new heat pump for my pool, needed a second opinion.
I contacted Universal heating and air.
This company is awesome!
Josh and Eddie were just at my home right on time. They checked the heat pump for my pool and were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They repaired the unit in less than 2 hours and now is up and running again (and no need for a new unit), saving me A LOT of money!
Bottomline is always get a second opinion and if you own a pool heater this is the company to go with (they are the certified technicians for all major brands).
Five stars and will be using them now every year for maintenance.

Two technicians came out to look at spa heater. They were at our home for 37 minutes. Of course, they charged an additional $44 for the extra seven minutes. (Which I’m ok with) They turned off valves and forgot to turn them back on when leaving. Pool pump has been running for three hours this morning with no water circulating. (Praying no damage to pool pump!) Called to have someone come back out and very rude on phone….never again !
