Diagnosed our furnace that wasn’t producing heat and said that our thermostat (retail $40) needed replaced. Only offered a $750 option that didn’t included installation 😳 what planet are you from? 5 stars for diagnosing the issue plus 0 stars for recommending $750 solution to fix a $40 problem equals 3 stars. Feels generous.
The tech showed up before the scheduled time which I guess was nice but that was the only positive. After checking what was at fault the tech left the outside electric panel open, left the furnace front plate off and gave an estimate of $1150. I fixed myself with two new fuses and an electric cutoff box replacement. Total $50 and 2 hours from someone who didn't know how do fix prior to reading the instructions.
Eric Perry was my technician. He was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. I was very satisfied with the service he provided. He also made sure I understood the problem and how it was resolved.
Alec Collette was my technician. He was professional and made sure I understood the problem and the fix. He is an excellent representation of the wonderful people that you employee. He was very pleasant.

After having a complete system replacement in the winter time, the first day I went to turn on my air conditioner it did not work. When I called, I was told they could not schedule a technician until the middle of the following week. I told them that was unacceptable, as it was a brand new system installation and was not working. After a bit of pressure, they got someone over to look at it (who figured out that it had been wired incorrectly).
While that was a disappointment for sure, the larger disappointment has been that I have recommended Impact to several of my neighbors who are needing to replace their systems. The feedback that I have received has been extremely disheartening! There is nothing worse than recommending a company that I thought was worthwhile only to have my friends, neighbors and family have such poor experiences. Extremely rude customer service, technicians failing to perform simple tasks and in one case leaving without solving the issue (even informing the client). Fortunately, they have found much better companies to work with and I will be doing the same in the future!
