The entire team was great to work with. I had Balance Point install a new AC and furnace at my personal residence and I am very happy with the results. Edit: After the posting of this review (originally 2 stars), I receiving a call from Callen at Balance Point. I do believe they are genuinely disappointed and apologetic that I had the experience that I had. They offered to compensate me for my missed work. I declined the offer, what's done is done. Though the experience was disappointing for my transaction, I believe the lesson from it will have positively impacted Balance Point's practices to avoid disappointing future customers.
I really wanted to be able to leave Balance Point a better review than this is going to be. But despite several opportunities to do better and make the situation better, I and my business just kept slipping through the cracks. Though I have been told that they were sorry, the apology is meaningless because they just keep doing it. This appears to be their business practice. I understand from others that Balance Point is typically a good company, I don't know what happened with my transaction, but their failures cost them nothing and cost me my time and income.
TL;DR- By failing to show up for the first appointment and never calling, then rescheduling delivery of the second remote twice and lastly by failing to contact the roofer until I pushed (and passing the blame to the roofer) - you have lost yourselves what would have been a repeat customer and I will don't think I could recommend your company to anyone.
I hired Balance Point to install a QuietCool whole house fan and attic fan into my home. My appointment was scheduled for a Monday between 10 and 11 am. I took one of my few precious vacation days off from work so that I could be home for the install. At 11:15 am, I called the Balance Point office to find out the status of the install because no one had called or arrived yet. I was informed by Karen that I was on the schedule and that the installers "must be running late" and would be heading out to me soon. When no one had arrived by 2:00 pm, I called the office again. I was finally called back by Callen and he informed me that the installers would not be able to make it out to me that day. I was stuck with them though because I had signed a contract, so I rescheduled.
The installers arrived at the rescheduled appointment and they were professional and clean. However, I had ordered a second remote control for the fan, which the installers did not have with them because it wasn't on the job sheet. They made arrangements to arrive back at my house later in that same day to set up the second remote. Instead, the sales guy, Ben, scheduled for Thursday at 3:00 pm to bring out the second remote. At 4:00 I called Ben, because I still had not heard from him and he called me back at 4:15 to let me know that he wouldn't make it out to my house after all. When Ben did finally come the following, he arrived unprepared without a ladder and he left me with insulation hanging out of the hatch and on the floor when he departed.
Another aspect of the job was to install a set of roof vents by their contracted roofer. When I contacted the roofer he informed me that he had never been alerted of the job by Balance Point. He said he would call me back as soon as he got my job information. Over a week later and I still hadn't heard back from him. I asked Ben and he blamed the roofer saying that he had left many voicemails for them. When I was contacted by the roofer, I asked him about that and he told me that he hadn't been called and he was still waiting for the job information from Balance Point, a full 10 days after the install (and my payment) of my fan systems. I tend to believe the roofer.

Balance Point did a complete HVAC/water heater replacement. Ben and his team made it easy. They were very knowledgeable and professional. The work was top notch and the overall service was exceptional. Don't sacrifice when it comes to the heart of your home...give these guys a call.

Contacted the team at Balance Point on a friday night via email to request a quote for a whole house fan. Had a reply on Saturday from them and an appointment on Monday to get an assessment. Callen was on time for the appointment which is very important to me. He was thorough with his inspection to give us an accurate quote. Answered all my questions and respected my home. We agreed on a deal and the crew was out on Thursday the same week. Again on time and very respectful of my home. Anthony and Alex were awesome. Answered all my questions along the way and completed the installation in a timely manner. They finished up and left my house cleaner than it was when the showed up. Not to mention better with the new QuietCool fan. I would recommend this company 100% to anyone seeking the services they offer.

The Balancepoint team was amazing for us. Benjamin was the expert/salesperson that guided our project of replacing two AC units that were an uncommon brand and technology. The term “expert” definitely describes Benjamin. He was happy to explain every detail of the project, and spent significant time searching for rebate offers we could apply. Balancepoint continued support after our units were installed, answering any questions and helping me find permit information I had misplaced. Everyone who answers the phone there has been wonderful.

Our air conditioner broke this past weekend and we had someone from a different company come out to look at it. They convinced us we would need an entire replacement (which is super expensive btw). My husband decided to get a second opinion and called Balance Point. They had someone out the next day. They were ahead of schedule and I wasn't home when they stopped by but they were very forgiving and came back as soon as I was home.
The gentleman's name was Jim and in about an hour he had identified the problems, gave us the options and fixed it for under $200. Jim's professionalism was on point and he is incredibly knowledgeable! I HIGHLY recommend him! I will be telling everyone I know to come to this company.

Balance Point did all our complete house remodel including new heating and AC units. Callen and his crews were nothing but professional and very good to work with. Then the bill came, and even though it was an expensive price to pay, it was fair and justified as they did several things for me that were beyond the call of duty without asking for additional compensation.
Thanks to all the employees at Balance Point, it is good to know someone that puts their customers concerns first.
