Southwest Heating & Cooling

Long-time residential customers of Southwest Heating & Cooling for both home HVAC maintenance and installation services. This was my first experience with technician Allen Huff who performed our fall system checkup. Allen is excellent to work with- answered all of my questions in addition to discussing options with me for our eventual replacement of the almost 15 year heat and A/C currently installed. As always with Southwest in our experience, 5 star communications and service!

Carl showed up on time and on the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem with the air conditioning system (which turned out to be a bad electrical breaker) and fixed the issue. He Also replaced our old thermostat with a newer model (at our request) even though that wasn’t the reason for the call. Lastly, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Southwest Heating and Cooling!

Update: 8-9 months later- we re-engaged SW Heating & Cooling to completely replace our our AC & Furnace. Jorge and Ronny did the work and they performed excellently. It was an all-day job and they kept me informed on their progress throughout the day. The installers went above and beyond to do the job correctly and at the highest quality. I would definitely recommend SW H&C for your HVAC needs.

Update2: Due to an unforeseen electrical issue, our furnace blower motor burned out. Mike C showed up quickly and replaced the motor, thus fixing the problem. Mike was knowledgeable and professional and Southwest H&C conducts business ethically. We continue to recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

Red was amazing in how he responded to my calls for help. My Aprilaire Humidifier was leaking. He quickly identified the problem and corrected it. We thought the problem was solved but an allied problem persisted several days later. He quickly returned and fixed the problem though I stated, I could wait if necessary. Just from observing the way he approached the problem I knew he was exceptional. Besides that, he couched me on the whole heating system. I have always liked Southwest Heating but found that in the future will request Red!

The repair went well and Jorge Garcia performed preventive maintenance. He was professional, on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. I hope to use him in the future for maintenance and service problems on HVAC.

Ran in to a problem with our furnace and reached out to southwest heating and cooling. The office was in touch with me within the hour and we had a scheduled appointment on the books just like that. Jorge came out within the scheduled time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He explained everything very well to me and even pointed out multiple other things he noticed. He made sure to tell me about it all so we could look to prevent further issues. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I will always recommend southwest heating and cooling for any furnace and AC needs!

I highly recommend southwest heating and cooling. I was impressed with the entire process beginning to end. I filled out an appointment request on their website and was contacted the next day to set up and appointment. A few days later the tech came out and told us we needed a total replacement of our furnace and AC unit. He could not have been nicer. He took the time to fully explain everything and all of our options. Once we agreed, service was schedule within days. They contacted frequently with updates on arrivals and confirmations. The crew, lead by Jesus Gomez, was exactly on time(actually a few min early), were extremely friendly and informative, not to mention clean and detail oriented. Once the install was finished, he took the time to show me everything and explain how the new system works. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them.

Very friendly company and technicians knowledgeable and made it clear that they wanted to make sure that all of my concerns were taken care of before the technician left. Technician was quick. Did good quality work and provided an easy to understand analysis of what the issue was. What needed to be corrected and then perform those corrections. Within minutes of completing the repair, Meyer conditioning system was working like it was when it was brand new and it cooled my house down about 2,000 ft² 2 degrees when it was 85° outside from 74 to 72. The technician explain to me The most ideal way to keep our house cool in the summer time which is to open up your windows while the air outside is less than the temperature you're shooting for inside and once you reach that same temperature outside, close everything up, close your shades and keep sunlight from coming in. Keeping warm air from coming in.

Would recommend them to anyone that needs heating and air conditioning work for their systems.

We had a Hot Water Heatere installed by Southwest in 2019.
I recently started to leak and not heating. I called Southwest to schedule an appointment. I did not want them to come out on the Weekend but for sure on Monday. My Window was 3 to 5. Andrew Heinz call at 2:45 and said he was on his way. Showed up on time Very Professional (Shoe covers). Checked the situation and realized it was poorly installed in the first place. Corrected it. You have a good man in Andrew and a Happy customer in Me.

We had a very old furnace and in anticipation of winter and not wanting to get int needing a new furnace in the middle of cold weather, we asked Southwest to take a look. They confirmed that it was a well operating relic and provided a good explanation of the options for replacement. We ended up making a decision to replace it that day and they we able to get it all done that same week. Very professional and very nice installation.
