The Bee Heat & AC

Our furnace stopped working on a night when it was supposed to get to -1. We were very concerned that our pipes would burst. I called 12 other heating companies and either they weren't able to help or they didn't carry the part that was needed. Busy Bee saved the day!! The team was responsive, courteous and their pricing was very fair. One company had quoted us a price that was 4x higher than Busy Bee just because it was an after hours call on a freezing evening! I'm so impressed with Busy Bee that I've already recommended them to everyone I know and they will be our go-to going forward. What a delight to find an honest company that I'm thrilled to do business with!

Service was easy to schedule, updates about arrival were provided, service man was very professional and filled us in on all activities. We will call them again!

Our furnace started making terrible noises (remember Home Alone? kind of like that) right before it was supposed to get really cold. After calling around a bit we were able to get someone from The Bee HVAC to come out just a few days later. Our technician (Russell) discovered that the inducer had gone bad...bummer but not surprising on a 15 year old furnace.

After giving us a clear and straightforward explanation of our options we chose to replace the furnace instead of doing an expensive repair. The Bee HVAC was able to get us on the schedule a mere two days later, which was great considering the first snow of the year was forecast. Russell and his apprentice came on time (despite the poor road conditions) and completed a tough install in a tight space...they even gave us a beefier unit than the one we originally discussed (which was out of stock) without increasing the quoted price!

All in all excellent experience, responsive on the customer service front and Russell was obviously very knowledgeable, giving us clear and frequent updates before/during/after the install. We highly recommend The Bee for your HVAC needs!

This company earned our business through a competitive bid process. We put them against 6 other local companies and they rose to the top. By happenstance, we got a fantastic deal on some top of the line equipment. We were shopping to replace our janky old evaporative cooler and 30 year old oversized furnace. We upgraded to full central air and a modern furnace.

Howard came out and gave us a quote, measured up the job, and was honest and straight forward (never attempted to oversell, and in fact, sold us on proper equipment that wasn't top of the line efficiency since we'd likely never recover the cost). Russell and Obed came out and busted their behinds and were super professional and diligent. Cleaned up the job site and even threw in a few add ons when they found an issue (for instance, hole in exhaust on water heater).

I'd recommend anyone who is looking for HVAC work to at least have them come out to bid. Outstanding work, competitive prices, and excellent work force.

Definitely not the cheapest in town but they don’t BS you. I had another company install my ecobee but failed to installed the PEK (power extension kit). Obed called when he was en route we discussed the issue and he knew right away I had blown a fuse and needed the pek installed. He told me 95 or so per half hour of labor I agreed, he said it wouldn’t take long and sure enough 30 mins later he got it all hooked up and working great.

I got a new furnace filter installed too. Everything came out to $230 which was very reasonable for what they did. The fact they don’t lie mislead or try to up sell was so nice. I flip a lot of homes and will probably call these guys on the next job. Pretty impressed 👍🏻

Howard was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very thorough in his inspection and cleaning of my heating and air conditioning and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. Thank you for providing such great customer service- happy to add you to our list of favorite home maintenance providers!

They have installed a new AC unit and have also helped me with furnace issues...they are responsive, prompt, professional, and have fair pricing. I highly recommend this company. My furnace was having issues, so I called a different company. Their man told me I needed a new furnace! However Howard from The Bee came out and was able to repair it. He did say that it is old and will need to be replaced in the future.
He came out here on Saturday afternoon, found the part he needed in Denver, went and picked up the part on Saturday night, came here to make the repair on Sunday afternoon. The furnace is working. I am so grateful for the service The Bee gave me and will definitely use them when I replace my furnace.

I'm very happy with Howard and his small business Busy Bee AC. He troubleshot my AC system which had frozen up - and was even willing to climb up on my roof to check the compressor (which is very steep!). He spent two hours cleaning coils, replacing the filter and replenishing my refrigerant. Did it all for a competitive price. I will use them again in the future!
