The Bee Heat & AC

We just got home from a long, cold day of skiing and realized our heater wasn’t running all day. We called around to see if we could get someone to look at it right away, and Howard at 7:30 pm was able and willing to still come out. He was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable and he had it fixed in no time. We are moving to a new home this week, and we will plan to use this company again and request Howard if we have any issues in the future. Thank you so much! You guys are literally a life saver!

We hired Busy Bee to do 2 unrelated jobs. First, the AC in the house we just bought wasn't working. Howard came as scheduled and seemed to track down the cause of our problem. His initial approach was to do the most conservative option, yet he guaranteed his work and was glad to return to try the next logical option.
Second, we had him install a household humidifier on our furnace. He seemed to do a good job. Howard tested it to make sure it was running OK before he left. We'll know for sure when it cools off enough for us to want to use the heat.
Howard and Busy have been a pleasure to work with. A neighbor recommended them and we're glad he did.

Honesty, integrity, excellent communication and work ethic are the qualities that come to mind. I am so happy to have found The Bee HVAC (recommended by a former vendor who moved out of state). Russell was happy to show me how to deal with the filters in both my air purifying system and my humidifier. This company will not try to upsell you but will give you great service at fair pricing. We have problems with our boiler and we were without heat and hot water for 16 hours. I called The Bee Heat and AC at 8 AM. 3 hours later Brian (a technician) came, diagnosed the problem and temporarily fixed it so we could have heat and hot water in our home. He has not charged us for the visit and his service (!!!).
Down the road some parts of our heating system will need to be replaced, and he gave me an estimate for such repair.

Howard revamped our forced-air heating system: replaced the furnace inducer motor, added a heat register to an unheated bathroom ceiling, removed old and deteriorating insulation from the ducts, replaced much of the duct work and sealed all joints, and disassembled and removed an old furnace unit that had been left in the attic.

We were extremely pleased with his work. Prior to finding Busy Bee, we had two other furnace technicians come out to diagnose the problem. Each of them had a different opinion, but Howard's was the most informed and best explained. His knowledge--and his ability to explain complex information--was far superior to the that of the other technicians. Re: scheduling, he was responsive and communicative--keeping us up-to-date on his schedule, even though we were in the midst of a brutal cold snap and he had multiple no-heat calls to attend to.

On the day of the work he was timely and efficient. He was especially sensitive to my concerns about cleanliness. This was a messy attic job--many materials had to be removed from the attic and through the house--and Howard did a great job protecting the floors, disposing of refuse through a nearby window when possible, and cleaning up and removing all materials when finished.

Since the work, our system is running much better--blowing stronger and operating with greater efficiency. I highly recommend Howard and Busy Bee Heating and Cooling.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company. I found them through Angie's list, top rated. Howard came out for an initial visit, and due to the current error codes on my furnace recommended a particular service. I scheduled that, and Sam was very efficient and on-time with the whole job. However, after the job was finished, different error codes were being triggered and he was able to come back within an hour to get the furnace back up and running. Excellent service, and they were both happy to explain to me what was going on so I could understand.

I acquired a building they did the work on for the previous owner. The tech called to let us know he was running early and verify that it was okay.

Within minutes of arrival he quickly diagnosed our problem and took care of it under warranty. We were back up and running moments later.

Super , fast service and honest ! I had old boiler housed out side the house, and fixable each year but dangerous carbon monoxide levels went undetected for years. ... lucky it was out side the house.. Adrian was equipped with a monitor revealing long overdue replacement! Highly recommended the busy bee they had it replaced next business day! Heat works great and the new one is super quiet and efficient.

The owner came out to give me an estimate. It was very fair. He even threw in a discount because I was a teacher as was his mom! He made sure I had the proper size unit and ensured that my furnace could last a little longer, so I appreciate him not trying to sell me things I didn't need at the time. I will recommend Howard Bynder time and time again!
