The Bee Heat & AC

My husband and I were out of town for the weekend and saw on our thermostat app that the inside temperature was dropping, even though it said the heat was on. We had our cats at home and our house sitter was unable to figure out why the heat was not turning on. We called The Bee Heat and AC on a Saturday morning and they got back to us within an hour or two and we were able to easily set up the appointment. The technician was out to our property within an hour of talking to the first person and had to replace the furnace filter. The staff was extremely professional and kind, especially since we were out of town and a little anxious about the entire situation. To top it off, the price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend them and also use them again!

We got a new AC and furnace installed through Busy Bee, Howard was extremely patient with our questions (I had no idea there was so much to choosing a furnace and AC). Howard did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each option, was never pushy about anything, and worked with us on pricing. I feel like we got a great deal from Busy Bee and the product they install is great. Sam, whom installed our AC/furnace was professional, curtious, and did quality work. I honestly don't think I will consider anyone aside from Busy Bee for HVAC work in the future.

We needed a new a/c and furnace. I had 4 separate companies come out and bid the project. Howard (the owner) came out the same day for the quote and had the estimates to me by the next day. Of all the quotes I got, his was the only one that included pulling permits (which after doing a bunch of research was one of the things experts said should always be done by professional companies) and they're not cheap. His prices were straight forward (I paid the same amount as what we agreed upon before the installation). He literally stayed until 1 in the morning to get everything finished the day of the installation. Everything works great, and the temp in my house is AMAZING!!

While I've only had the new units for a couple days so far, I was extremely impressed with the process of bidding and installation and would highly recommend them. I've recommended them to my neighbors and plan to re-review in the winter once the furnace starts to be used.

Added since initial post:
The one negative thing I want to share is that when I had the inspector come to sign off on the install, he did require additional combustible air volume in the basement in order to sign off on it. This required putting a 6" vent to the outside of my home. When I called up Busy Bee, they said it was not included in the original quote and it would cost an additional service visit. I declined, since this is really easy to do. I just wish it was included originally in the quote, and just done at the time of the install.

I still would give them 5 stars, but just wanted to let people know about the extra visit thing

I contacted Busy Bee Heating and Cooling when my heater started acting up. There had been cooler weather for about two weeks and my heater was fine, but of course the first truly cold day and it started acting up. It was supposed to be much colder that night and I really wanted to get it fixed before nightfall. I contacted Busy Bee around noon and they said they would have a technician out between 6:30 and 8:00. The technician was running late, but did call to let me know because he wanted to make sure I was still okay with him coming later than 8:00. I was and he showed up around 8:30. He was very professional, explained exactly what he found, what he had to do to fix it and he cleaned up after he was done. He even helped me understand the built in humidifier and what I needed to do to that to get it working properly. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. The next day I got a call from Busy Bee wanting to know if I was satisfied. I was more than satisfied. I have found my heating and cooling repair company. No more shopping for this service. They were very pleasant to deal with, professional and their pricing was very good. I highly recommend them.

The owner came to my house late in the evening after doing a install (that took all day) to fix my air conditioner. He was extremely nice and helpful. Showed us about our unit and gave us pointers on maintenance. Will definitely use this company again and again. Great people and very caring for their customers. Thank you again :).

Hands down, no question, BEST priced company for having your swamp cooler started and tuned up for the season. Danny was professional and awesome and did a fantastic job getting us set up for the season. We had an ill-fitting nozzle thing, and a missing drainage hose on the unit, and Danny fixed everything up perfect so we wouldn't have to go another night in a super hot house. Many thanks to this team!

These guys were amazing. They did a great job explaining what the problem was and what the most reasonable solution was. We ended up buy a whole new furnace and ac. We never felt pressured and they did a great job answering all of our questions. Once we made the decision to move forward they had everything installed within a week of the initial call. I highly recommend The Bee!!!!!

Number one - Russell came out to give us a quote to replace our HVAC. He was professional, polite, very transparent and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. Very trustworthy and I was comfortable with him from the moment he came to my door. I appreciated the fact that there were no “bundle” pricing games and he was a straight shooter from the start. No pressure and no up-sell & itemized clearly so I understood my options from a financial level. Gave us a true cost legit quote, no revisions.

Number 2 - Adriane came out on day of install. I was texted his eta just before arriving which I appreciated because we have 3 yappy dogs which gave me time to crate them. Adriane was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and gave me professional details to all questions I had. Everything was removed and carted off that the new equipment replaced. I felt very comfortable with him in my home and he had a pleasant vibe. Russell also helped w the install.

Number 3 - Very impressed with the owner who is deeply rooted in the community and is on top of rebates and offers generous discounts on qualifying instances when they didn’t have to be offered to me in the first place. I feel he prides his business on honesty and integrity as well as gives back to the community which was very refreshing.

The scheduler, (Jessica I think was her name) was very helpful as well, and we feel went above and beyond which was greatly appreciated.

After having some bad experiences in the past with other HVAC businesses who seemed shady, due to things like blatant “wrong diagnosis” resulting in a “HIGH cost” quote in the “thousands of dollars” price range after compared to final “actual costs” when we had to call out their misdiagnosis due to our own research and IN ADDITION to offering completely unnecessary and not asked for expensive up sells, which wasn’t what we wanted or needed at those times.

My overall experience was very pleasant, no games, extremely competitive with first quote and a respectful crew from the start to finish. We will ALWAYS use Busy Bee in the future for as long as we live in this house.

Extremely reliable, honest, hardworking, and professional. I would highly recommend Busy Bee to anyone needing HVAC installation or repair. Howard goes well above and beyond to be sure that everything is done quickly and correctly. He spent his entire Thanksgiving day installing my system, even though I said it was fine, we'd be okay for a day. I imagine most places would have charged extra for that, but not Howard. Busy Bee goes to the top of my list of businesses that I would recommend to family and friends.
