I was very pleased and more knowledgeable on maintaining my heating and air system.

Big Mountain H&A did a complete attic renovation on my home. Mr. Edward Billy did a fantastic job getting the renovation set up. He very intently listened to the complaints we had about our existing system. He then explained how the complete renovation would solve these problems. We decide to "get it done."

The head technician, Michael Bledsoe and his crew showed up right on time (as planned). They did a fantastic job through each step of the renovation; keeping us informed as to what's going on and what the next step would be.

I commend the Big Mountain H&A guys for such a good job. I am beginning to see my AC running much less now that the attic has been reworked and properly insulated.

I had the system installed 4 years ago from them and they were great. I was in their service plan that with monthly payments they would come out and maintain and clean system. This last service I got different vibes like they were looking for things to sell/charge me for. Said the fan was drawing too much power and was leaking some oil so needed to be replaced. Though the motor they said was still under warranty I was told I needed to pay for labor and pulled out a book of what it would cost. Since I had a contract and warranty I wasn’t able to see if this was a competitive price or not for part but thinking shouldn’t be charged labor for a part under warranty. Also tried to sell me a filter I didn’t need. It also seemed was dumbing things down and not explaining things since he thought I wouldn’t understand because I’m female. I said yes to him explaining how a compressor worked though I know full well how it does since I have a science/technical degree. Though overall I think did a good job replacing parts (which is why I didn’t rate lower) I had a bad feeling throughout service and think I was overcharged and May have not needed as much as was told I needed

START BY SAYING 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟's for Dave and Big Mountain Heating & Air. Been with Dave for 8 years: maintance after installing 2 systems at 2 houses. After getting a great quote from another company for removing, installing & sealing ductwork, Dave came. He was able to do it for less money, complete in 1 1/2 not 3 days and start sooner. He is also removing a solar unit from my roof at a great price. However, more important is I trust Dave and feel safe with Big Mountain's technicians as it is a family run business with low turnover. They treat their staff and customers with respect and I am happy to feel apart of this family.

From the first contact with their customer service, they were friendly, professional, and helpful. The service technician was prompt (well within the time frame expected), courteous, and professional. After assessing our situation, he explained the services needed (and why) and worked quickly and effectively. Big Mountain initially installed our system, and whenever we have had any concerns they have been professional and efficient in their service - and I would recommend their business to anyone needing an HVAC system or service.

Never do business with this company! I have had two really bad experiences with Big Mountain Air! I can see maybe having one but two is awful. They find every way they can to get out of doing warrany work! We had words that day when my a/c quit blowing cold air and they refused to cover it under warranty, even though they said it had one month left. I called Roseville Sheet Metal and they were awesome! I now have a leak in a pvc joint where condensation is dripping down onto my heater in the closet and they won't touch it because of the previous experience. You'd think they'd do everything possible to make it right but it's oviously not a priority to make things right with Big Mountain Air!!! If I were you I would never do business with them and I am a really reasonble guy! On their website site they say they are compassionate, what a lie!

So we had our A/C unit "fixed" last year, by another company, and it worked for a few months but broke down again this year (2019). First time calling Big Mountain Heating & Air and the technician they brought out, Kenny, was great! He was very professional, courteous, and he knew his stuff as we asked him questions. My wife and I were blown away at how honest he was and didn't beat around the bush when he showed us the reason why our A/C unit didn't operate. He showed me the problem and there was a shortage that happened between the wires and modules in the picture provided that caused a small fire. He was honest and told us that our unit is no longer viable because we would be putting in money that may not even solve the problem like it did the last time. We gave our budget and he wrote up an estimate and answered any questions we had with ease. We did not sign off on the new unit that day but we will definitely keep Big Mountain Heating & Air in mind when the time comes just because of Kenny.
