Ray O. Cook Heating & Air

We used Ray O. Cook after they came highly recommended from a friend. Roy and his crew were incredibly professional during the entire replacement of our entire HVAC system, and they were able to get it done within a day. Unfortunately, we ended up failing our initial Title 24 inspection after the replacement, but this was due to duct leaks from 30+ year old duct work. Danny was quick to respond with a quote to do ducting replacement, and they even threw in some extras for us. We were able to get an appointment to replace the ducting within days of making the request. We ended up passing our Title 24 after our ducts were replaced. All in all, I'd highly recommend their services.

Paul was outstanding as a salesman. He covered all aspects of the new HVAC and its installation. The crew that installed it was very professional. Would highly recommend Ray O Cook if you are considering replacing your current system!

I was given a timeframe in which the service technician would be at our home and he was there within the timeframe as promised. Very polite, explained an issue with a ceiling duct filter which has been inaccessible due to a large piece of furniture beneath it; that will be addressed when my son comes home from work and can help move the old, heavy piece of furniture to allow replacement of the filter. After evaluating the HVAC system performance the various steps were discussed by the technician, and no additional work was found to be needed. Roy O. Cook installed the HVAC system 3 years ago and it has worked flawlessly, costing around $100 per month less, summer and winter, in electric bills than the prior unit which failed. The service technician was patient, explained the service points thoroughly, and was professional in every aspect. I continue to be pleased with this company's quality of service.

Ray O. Cook did an excellent job installing our system. They replaced every single piece of equipment from the HVAC unit, to the ducts, registers, returns, & thermostat. The crew was on time every day & very responsive to our needs & concerns. During installation, there was a very small amount of accidental floor damage that occurred due to a tool accidentally being dropped. Ray O Cook was very responsive in remediating that occurrence. We contacted a flooring repair company of our choice for a quote, & Ray O Cook promptly wrote us a check for the entire repair quote amount.

Taylor was very thorough and found a few areas where our heating system was displaying some very problematic signs. Taylor corrected those issues from which we will benefit on both a health and safety (a major CO2 issue) and financial standpoint in the lowering of our PG&E fuel costs. Definitely Five-star service!
