    Michael B.from Ray O. Cook diagnosed an unusual noise that was coming from the heater when it turned off an on. He worked with his team in the office to diagnose and resolve the issue.

    He was thorough with examining the system and candid with the possible solutions. The system was still under warranty and Ray O. Cook did not shy away from the fact that one of the solutions might require replacement of some significant components.

    I appreciated their work and honesty throughout the process and would recommend them.

    We've had a strange whistling sound coming from one of our vents for a while. After four visits from different HVAC companies, we simply tried to ignore the issue throughout most of the winter. Recently we contacted Roy O. Cook Heating and got a visit from Joe. After explaining what was going on from our perspective, Joe went through our system from top to bottom, spending whatever time he needed to locate the problem. One of the benefits Joe provided was his experience, meaning he didn't have to spend even one minute consulting with his supervisor to help determine what the problem might be. This had not been the case with the four previous technicians. He found three issues with our system, two possibly directly related to the noise. We authorized the repairs, for which he had the parts on his service vehicle. He did them promptly. It has only been eight days since the repair, but that's about 6.5 days longer than we've had quiet from our system in a good long time.

    Our heater quit working during major storms hammering our area and we scheduled a service call on the first available time which was two days away. Garrett was our service tech and notified us in advance when he would be at our house and he showed up when he said he would. He was able to troubleshoot the main problem and quickly corrected it along with a general tune up. He also identified that our entire HVAC system and duct work was basically on life support and explained our options without any pressure. We knew our systems were old and needed to be upgraded so we requested an appointment with an engineer to determine the right systems and associated pricing for the size of our home. We were able to schedule an appointment with Paul within an hour and he also showed up as scheduled. Paul worked out the details on the spot and thoroughly explained the best options for our home. We have scheduled the installation for the new systems for next week and so far we are extremely happy with Ray O. Cook Heating and Air.

    Garret and Chris responded to our call for help. They contacted us 20 minutes before their arrival and were here at the time of our appointment.

    Our new heat pump system had shut down during the night. They went through a troubleshooting routine and found a wire had been connected to the wrong terminal causing the shutdown when the outdoor temperature dropped below 35 degrees.

    The system is running and no further shutdowns have occurred.

    Technician (Michael) was very professional and informative. He arrived on time and answered all my questions. He did a diagnostic test and let me know the status and condition of my heating unit. He made some minor adjustments and had my unit running again. He gave me some recommendations for maintenance and future replacement options
