Gene Burch Plumbing Heating & Air

Gene Burch installed my heat pump last year. Today I needed to call them for a drain backup. The technician they sent, Ivan, was so very helpful in getting my pipes cleared and giving me advice on how to keep them that way. I have had nothing but great interactions with this company.

Every step of the process, from scheduling the appointment, to getting the inspection, spare parts and repair was smooth, fast and painless. Our technician, Sergio, was an absolute joy to work with, he is friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable.

I have used Gene Burch previously for plumbing issues and to replace a water heater. In this instance they were able to respond quickly when my heating system failed-my thanks to Maria for working with me to schedule around a PG&E power outage.

Tae arrived as scheduled and was able to identify the problem in short order. He provided me with a written quote for the required replacement part before he left, and returned the following business day to install it and test the system. All in all, Tae was punctual, courteous, friendly, and professional.

I trust Gene Burch-their technicians arrive as scheduled, they call while en route, and leave their work area neat and clean. And I’ve never felt like I was being upsold while discussing fixes for my issues.

Updated review 2023: We just had another awesome service call done by Alfredo. Our boiler's 10 year old condensate pump suddenly gave out so we called Alfredo to the rescue, we also had him do the annual servicing of the boiler itself since it was due. As usual Alfredo explained the work needed in advance and had all the parts needed with him. He's super knowledgeable about our radiant heating system and we always feel confident that the work is being done correctly and efficiently.
Original review:Anne clearly explained their service plan and got a really great technician to us quickly. So far very happy with Gene Burch service. We had our boiler/water heater serviced by Freddy’s who was super thorough and explained everything well.
On a previous service call we had our kitchen sink back-up resolved by David.
Most lately we had Ivan here to check out a fixture leak- another awesome provider with Gene Burch! He quickly assessed the issue and let us know best and worse case scenario.

Ivan and Gene Burch to the rescue! Ivan came in and diagnosed our misbehaving water heater. We were sure we were going to have to replace it but a quality thermocouple and quality work saved us from a much much higher bill and at least one more day without hot water. Thank you Ivan!

Great repair job on a leaky bathtub pipe. Super friendly, great communication! Will call them again for any plumbing or HVAC needs!
