Our smart thermostat stopped working & we had a very cold night due to the fact that the system would not stop blowing cold air. I called Monarch as soon as they opened & they had someone at my house within 30 minutes. The technician they sent, Ana, was amazing & was able to diagnose the problem & replace the thermostat right away. This experience definitely exceeded my expectations!
Everyone were professional and courteous. They did a great job on the install and informed about everything they did. Only problem was the MPG filter was not sent so they will have to come back to install that. Not a big deal because we will use the filtration system we already have. Would definitely recommend this company.
Christopher was great. I have to admit I was a little frustrated because I had to wait so long for him to show up. When he arrived and did what he was supposed to do, I understood why it took him so long to get here. It was because he takes care of his customers the same. He gives them 100% of his service. We are extremely happy with our service. Everything from start with Julio Navarro thoroughly explaining the process and our options, to finish with Pedro Aguilar and his crew doing an excellent job with the installation of our gas/electric unit. When the job was completed they cleaned up and made sure we knew how to use the thermostat and answered all the questions we had. I would not hesitate in referring friends and family to Monarch Home Services. Thank you for being so efficient and prompt.
I would have given a zero star rating but Google requires at least one star on a review. Monarch Home Services doesn’t deserve one star. This company is horrible and do nothing but rip you off. We had them install an HVAC system through Costco Home Services. We received a warranty and a five year service agreement with the install. Every time their service people come out they claim there are parts that are failing or need repair, but none of it is covered under warranty somehow. This started on the first maintenance visit when our unit was less than 6 months old. Today, the technician told my husband that the igniter was failing and needed to be replaced, again claiming the part wasn’t covered under warranty-on a unit that is only about a year old. I called Monarch to complain, and the technician then lied to his office and said he didn’t say the part needed to be replaced, he just recommended that it be cleaned-which is not what he said to my husband. I then spoke with the service manager and told him I wanted the $180 bill written off since the technician lied. He refused and told me he would send me to collections if I didn’t pay the bill. I will be reporting Monarch Home Services to Costco and recommend that they stop using them as a vendor. They are taking advantage of Costco’s good reputation and ripping off Costco’s customers and providing incredibly poor customer service.
Service Tech was on time, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired very quickly. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable. He took care to clean up his work area, reviewed his work with me and was very polite.
Although I was the last customer of the day I never felt like the technician was rushing to finish. He explained what he was doing to my unit every step of the way. He even gave me tips on how to make my unit run more efficiently. I would call them again for sure.
After having two HVAC units replaced in March 2021, Adrian from Monarch Home Services completed our first 6-month check-up. He arrived on time and was very personable, respectful and professional. I would highly recommend the Monarch team for new installations and routine maintenance.
I’m so impressed with Monarchs’ service tech Carlin Hayes, he’s amazing (I need a stronger word than just amazing). He’s incredibly knowledgeable about his industry and takes such pride in doing a great job. He took considerable time carefully inspecting and cleaning our ac/heating unit and educated me on every detail he found. And he has beautiful people skills, I could’ve chatted with him all day. I’m a solid Monarch customer now, and will be personally asking for Carlin again when we need more service. Thank you!
