    saw monarch at Costco. I like Costco and thought that the company that they refer would be reputable. so, I scheduled for a tech to come out... after many explanations my family and I decided to update our unit. our living room gets hot so we asked them to add a new vent. after everything was installed I now have little ventilation in the rest of the house. I wake up in the middle of the night hot in the bedroom and have to turn on the fan. shouldn't it be more efficient now with all the new install??? sadly no. after 3 day of this issue I decided to call monarch to send out a technician...I spoke with Margarita.... she scheduled for today for a tech to come between 3 to 5pm. it is now 10mins to 5pm. I called their office...the girl that answered the phone says...unfortunately I'm not on their schedule. I wasted my afternoon waiting for a tech....my daughter missed her gymnastics class.... yet we are not schedule. and this isn't the first time this incident happened... don't sign up for their membership.... they tell you your problem is priority. truth is after that contract is signed you're just another annoying customer on their phone line.

    3 years later and still did not learn my lesson from this ridiculous company. I had called Costco and had also informed them regarding the situation with Monarch. I've also wrote their membership department to cancel and refund my membership fees. The lack of communication between their dispatching team, and managers is just plan ridiculous/negligence.

    Our AC went out during a heat wave in July. It was awful. We’ve never had to use a service before so we just Googled nearby services. Everyone was booked 7-10 days out. We could not wait that long, so a few more calls later, Monarch was able to get us in a day later. They were quick and very efficient. The “I’m on my way text” with an accompanying photo of the tech is a nice touch. Our tech was Carlin and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and took his time to explain the issue. He even stopped by the next day to make sure everything was still working well. We would definitely use Monarch again.

    Well, I called them out to service my a.c. and the guy went on roof,and came down fast, and said he didn't service it, cause the motor blew up. And he charged me a 100 bucks anyways. Not cool. Then said it would cost me 12,000.00 to replace it. I can get a brand new a.c. installed for 6,000.00 it's worth shopping prices.

    The team was very punctual, respectful and professional. They did an amazing job and was able to complete from start to finish everything in one day. While completely paperwork Issaac was very friend and knowledgeable. We appreciate the amazing work and will definitely refer them to friends!

    I was approached by Monarch at Costco. My A/C is on its last leg and I know I am I going to have to replace it soon so I decided to have them give me a quote.
    After talking with the representative at my house, I decided to go with a quote that I was offered which was comparable to an estimate I had received 3 months earlier from a different company. The representative and I spoke over the phone and he informed me that the agreed upon price would be too low and they could only do it for an additional $2000. I balked at that and referred to the previously agreed on price. A few minutes later, the original price was suddenly fine. The contract was drawn up and signed. Because the install date was within 3 days, I had to sign a waiver for California’s right to cancel laws, which seemed a little shady, but I’m not an expert on the subject. After signing the contract, I was asked how I wanted to pay. I said I could pay by check but I would have to transfer money from an online account first and would take a couple days (something I had said before signing the contract). The install date was for Monday and it is currently Friday, it would take a couple days from Monday for the money to be in my account. They wanted a check on Monday. I wasn’t comfortable writing a check without full backing funds. I said I could write a deposit check and be invoiced, but that was apparently not doable. We then decided to schedule for Wednesday, which is fine; I would have the funds and could write the check for the full amount. 30 minutes later, I get a call saying Wednesday would not work and that I would have to install on Monday to keep the agreed upon price because business is currently slow and they need some work for their installers, a line that has been mentioned a few times prior in negotiations; a claim that seemed valid at the time. I said I would not be able to pay in full on Monday and offered up the invoice solution again, which was declined. Monarch cancelled the contract. Apparently they don’t need the work as much as they claim if they would rather cancel the contract over pushing the install date by two days. The whole thing seemed kind of shady, from what seemed like a “bait and switch” to the rush to install with a right to cancel waiver situation. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I am happy that the contract was cancelled.

    I’ve heard from many that Mark, the owner, is trustworthy. I needed a completely new system and gave him a call. Within a week the crews came in and installed the new units and fixed a number of problems the original installers created. The crews were trustworthy, reliable, friendly; did an excellent job. I couldn’t be more pleased. Looking forward to my lower monthly energy bills as well as being more comfortable.

    Thought it would be a good idea to have a maintenance/tune up done, before any issues. Heater was on a week before Monarch came out to service. Was informed that fan were dirty estimate $3900. For other cleaning to unit. Weather changed and tried to turn on heater w no luck. Called to have someone come out and see because it was working before they came out to clean the fans which was i told again. Was charged $400 for this and no heater due to now I was told ignition and circuit board is not working. Upset, I should have not paid for the cleaning since I was not told they were going to do this. Will not use again and will not recommend.

    I appreciated the excellent customer service and communication from Monarch Home Services. The text confirmation and updates to the status of my service were so helpful, and included a photo and short bio of my technician, so I knew who to expect and it personalized the process a bit.
    Anna T was professional, personable, knowledgeable, thorough and explained everything. We coincidentally had our AC stop working 3 weeks after our initial summer service, but when we called Raven to ask about it, she made sure someone was at our home by the end of the day even if it meant a longer day for the tech, which it was. Trust for me is very important when it comes to home repair services and I feel I can trust the service as well as the customer care at Monarch Home Services.

    They were ontime and did whole job in 1 day. Included duct and return air upgrades. 106° day and very clean, polite, crew. Very difficult job done professionally and the day after our existing unit went out. Their estimator and work crew deserve best rating available. We are very pleased and thankful.

    Fantastic staff!!! Their installers were very professional and took pride in their work, the finished product looks amazing!! We truly appreciated how all the staff took their time to problem solve and find a solution that will benefit our family for years to come. They took time to listen to our needs and concerns and respectfully took them all into consideration. All the installers were very professional, kind, and hard working. We thank them for the great job they did!
