This review is based on my interaction with Tim from Indoor Quality Air. After purchasing an older home, I needed a new fan motor. The initial company recommended by my home warranty never called or answered my calls, which is just fine because Tim was awesome. He was thorough in explaining what was wrong, the guy really knows his stuff. We discussed new a/c options, he outlined the energy savings between different types and the ductwork, but just to educate no pressure. They ordered the part and Tim came back to install it a few days later, he was done within the hour. Very pleasant and professional, I will definitely be using Indoor Quality Air for any HVAC issues/maintenance in the future, specifically asking for Tim.

I am very surprised of the negative ratings. Tim is a professional. It takes patience, good workmanship and an up beat but kind attitude to deal with customers day in and day out. I think Tim excels at that. Both days he called to let me know what time he would arrive. On time both days. I was a general contractor and I wish all my subs were as professional. As for the office, Ashley was a sweetheart and always let me know proper times, when the orders came in and was very pleasant to talk to. All work was done in a timely fashion as far as I was concerned.

Tim arrived at my home and was extremely professional from the start. After exchanging information, Tim immediately went to work on my A/C Unit. As he removed the A/C Housing Unit, he pointed out some easy preventative maintenance to help ensure better operation of the system. Tim replaced the fan motor to the unit. He also used the water hose to clean the coils as well as the surrounding area. After Tim started putting everything back together, he instructed me to turn on the unit inside the house. I turned it on and everything sounded great. I went back outside to inform Tim and I noticed that the area was clean and that my water hose valve was not leaking anymore. Tim said it just needed a minor adjustment. My Wife and I now enjoy the cooler conditioning thanks to Tim. He provided great service!!!! I definitely recommend Tim and Indoor Quality Services. Thanks!!!!!!

We had a major issue with our heater. After dealing with another repair company for 2 weeks, I finally got the home warranty company to re-assign our repair. They sent us to Dave and his crew at Indoor Quality and they were here the same day, and did a fantastic job for us. Our heater had to totally be replaced, as did our duct work. We knew there were issues with the ducts years ago, so it wasn't totally unexpected. He had to deliver this news to us 2 days before Christmas, and he was very understanding and empathetic.

Because we were without heat during a massive cold spell, they got us on the schedule quickly. It was a big job, and they were here every day, all day, for 5 days to get it done- even coming on a Saturday all day to finish so we could have heat. Every one of Dave's crew was friendly, professional, and clean. They made sure to sweep and vacuum, even when I told them they didn't have to. My new heater and ducting system works like a dream! SO much more air pressure, it really is amazing!

Bottom line is this- homes have issues, especially older homes like ours. The home warranty is only going to cover so much, and when things have to be brought to code, it will be more out of pocket. However, that's not the repair company's fault. I believe Dave and all of the people at Indoor Quality Services are honest people that do a good job in a timely manner. Huge thanks to all of them!

First of all, I think this is the first time I have posted a negative review, however, I felt the conduct was so egregious that I needed to warn others...

Our home warranty service company sent this company to repair our A/C unit in the heat of August. The initial diagnosis (broken motor) required ordering a part, of course, which still didn't result in working A/C -- I immediately called to say that now there was no air at all blowing (had previously blown warm air). He actually tried another repair, which also did not work. The company insisted that the unit needed deep cleaning of the coils before it would work, plus an electrical problem, which required a separate visit from the electrician, who found no problems (after the required $75 service fee of course).

At the return visit the repair technicians began by cutting the electrical wires to motor on our other WORKING unit -- stopping only when I saw them on our security camera and told them that that unit was fine. It was working fine, until they vandalized it, that is. I called to complain but of course there were no appointments for 7-10 days between each of these appointments.

We there had the company that installed it 4 years ago come out, and they documented the incompetent repair of the unit they broke. It was $1200 to repair, but if not done with branded parts, the warranty would be voided. I definitely did not trust Indoor Quality Services after all the wrong diagnoses and poor quality, so paid the company that installed it. They also went up in the attic and found the correct problem with the original broken a/c, and fixed that immediately.

I wrote a letter to the owner, complaining about our experience, and including a video of the vandalism of our working unit. I was requesting reimbursement of the unit his workers broke. I have not heard back. Interestingly, my colleague at work reported that they left her heating unit broken after a home warranty service call as well!

The total time was about 5 weeks to have our a/c problem repaired, which only happened because we gave up and hired another company.
During this time my husband was working overnight shifts and trying to sleep in a boiling hot house during the day.

I am left feeling that this company hires incompetent repair people, and is unscrupulous about fake repairs. Please save yourselves from this company!

Service Tech Tim and the ladies in the office went out of their way to work with our schedule and made it a priority to get to us as soon as they could. Very much appreciated their efforts since we had been without AC for 3 days in triple digit temps. I explained what happened with our AC unit and the noise it was making when it went out and Tim knew immediately what the issue was before his feet ever touched the roof! No doubt due to Tim's 22 years of expertise in the field! Luckily he had all the parts on his truck and made the repairs on the spot! Thank you Tim. We will be calling the office to schedule the 2x per year service! M. McKay

Tim was dispatched to our condo for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. I was a tad skeptical, because he had assured my wife that the parts he installed last week would 'do the trick', without having to come inside. Alas, the unit did not work properly, so the return visit was needed. Within 10 minutes, Tim had identified the problem as a wire in another part of the unit. He was totally honest and forthcoming with the explanation and resolution in the proceeding few minutes, Tim gave me a Cliffs Notes education about HVAC and homes and filters and flows and performance, which I had never imagined in my entire life. It was amazing! One of the best customer service experiences I have had in many years. His knowledge and efficiency and professionalism were of the highest standards! Truly an asset to his company and his trade in general. If I could give TEN stars, I would! Thanks, Tim!

This was the third company our warranty company AHS sent out to fix our AC because the other two flaked out. I called to set the appointment, Ashley was very responsive and friendly. Got an appointment for the next day with a window of 7 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tim called just before 7:00 a.m. asking if he could come out. He came, he diagnosed, he fixed, he advised. Great tech. Explained everything, had suggestions for the future. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely call them again! Thank you Tim, Ashley and Indoor Quality Service!

Had great service from both enployees that came out. Cody quickly diagnosed the control board had burnt on my furnace and Tim replaced the board in no time AND anchored my thermostat to the wall that was just hanging there. Both guys were very polite and courteous and I was thoroughly impressed. Would definitely recommend this company yo my family and friends

First time using Indoor Quality Services and I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Tim the service specialist, was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond his job duty. He even cleaned the furnace, which I appreciated. He diagnosed the issue and was able to get the part that was needed in a timely matter. He also recommended some products that would be beneficial for us. I would highly recommend IQS.
