Fast service, fixed the problem immediately. Very knowledgeable. Wasted no time diagnosing and fixing the problem. Would recommend this company. Have used before and same experience, honest and fair folks.

I live in the DFW area and have known the owner for several years. Air of the Ozarks has proven to be a dependable resource for our HVAC needs. They respond quickly to keep tenants happy and provide reasonable pricing—thumbs up to Rick and his team.

Thrilled to have used this company! From the promptness of a returned call from the office, to the dispatched technician, and finally to the crew that came out to remove & install a new unit! Professional, personable, knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend using them, and personally made them my "Go-to" default Heat/Air company!

Best prices and outstanding services!!! I appreciate the honesty and not trying to take a advantage of me like other companies did. Thank you for servicing my heater. If I ever have a need again you will be my first call. You have earned my trust and my recommendation!

We had a warranty claim checked out and were very pleased with the service call and felt like Rick Zinc did his best to be fair and honest with the estimate. Highly recommend this company!

Great service, prompt, friendly and explained our issues so they were easy to understand for a man from England who has never had a/c in his house before.

I believe Rick and his crew are nice people. I have held off on this review for a while, but they've been ruled out from working on our unit they installed ever again.

We had some issues initially. Their crew just straight walked in and up our stairs in their mud caked boots. No booties, tracking mud everywhere. They brought a bucket of water and suds and scrubbed it themselves. I have no idea what was in that bucket.

We had water leakage when they were installing the upstairs furnace, leaking through and staining our ceiling. They said if we went and got some paint they'd paint it for us. That was never followed up on. Ultimately, I had to do this myself.

When it came time to pay, I pulled out a credit card and it was a BIG deal. I was called and asked to pay for card processing fees. This was a learning lesson for them, I suppose. I denied to pay those fees, and they did accept the card, saying Rick would get a 'stern talking to.'

The ultimate issue is this, and why I find them disreputable and dishonest. We had roofing damage that require a new roof. In this process, they punctured a copper tube that was installed, by this company, as it was too close to the roof line. We can debate who's fault that is, but that isn't the point. They sent their team to assess the issue, and determined we needed to COMPLETELY REPLACE the unit they'd installed 12 months prior, stating the coils were damaged beyond repair due to nails. I am highly suspect of how those nails got in there when I was called to take a look. This unit is completely covered from the top.

Obviously, the insurance company for the roofing company did their due diligence and had three different companies due their assessment. That's when it understood that, no, in fact, it was a copper line puncture by a nail. Again, a line they installed too close to the roof.

OK, so let's leave it at that? No, there's more. I was contacted frantically by their team when I told them they'd not be getting the business of repairing, letting me know that if "anyone touches that system" my 'warranties' through them would be completely null and void, and also that my TRAIN warranty would be null and void. Utter, nonsense in that respect and a straight up lie. That was an intimidation practice, and I find it unbelievable that they think I would fall for that.

Needless to say, the copper line was fixed, the system works fine. They wanted to get a nice chunk of change from an insurance company.

I'll also note that I sent a very lengthy email outlining my issues with them, to no response. And when Rick arrived to accept my payment and go over the last bit of paperwork to settle up, he never even mentioned it or addressed any concerns. I just sat there, in disbelief, as he kept turning pages. Not a word.

I do not recommend them in any way. However, I do give 2 stars because of the three companies that have been here to address the roofing issue, they all stated that it was installed well, the ductwork looks good, but obviously the copper line was too close to the roof.

EDIT: I went ahead and attached photos of their visit, the estimate for the "replacement" system that was not needed, and my original email. I'm just not going to stand for them lying about all of this. I think their response tells you all you need to know.

Air of the Ozarks was brought out to service my furnace via my home warranty with First American. The unit was throwing an internal diagnostic code showing an issue with the low pressure switch. This switch is what picks up negative pressure from the exhaust gas blower fan. This is a safety measure to ensure your burnt gas fumes are not entering the house and causing carbon monoxide poisoning. Upon arrival the technician did not trouble shoot that part of the unit at all, the unit was opened and a comment was made about the blower being dusty and that would mean my coils were most likely clogged and this was causing a cascade type issue. Here is the issue with that, if the area where the hot air travels through and into the house was overheating it would cause a hard/soft lockout on the system because it is potentially a fire hazard. More so that portion is an entirely separate system from the exhaust gas evac.

This is where it gets interesting, they say they wont service the unit until maintenance is done and generously offer me a maintenance package. As soon as the provider says the word maintenance, the warranty company WILL NOT authorize any service until is done, which they knew. Mind you, NO troubleshooting had been done on the unit in regards to the trouble code, no pressure was measured nothing. They were effectively working the system to pigeon hole me into paying for additional maintenance.

If I could upload photos I would, the unit was a little dusty, far from being impacted though, I removed the blower assembly and did the cleaning myself and reported it back to the warranty company. They were satisfied and another provider was sent out... low and behold it appears to be an issue with the moisture collection system on the exhaust gas vent system... nothing to do with the blower that pushes air into the house.

To summarize, did not troubleshoot the unit, took a cursory glance and advised it was a general maintenance issue and reported it back to my warranty company knowing full well the warranty company would take no action until the maintenance was done, tried to sell me maintenance for part of the system that had NO bearing on the issue the unit was having.

They may be a decent provider if reached out to directly, but in regards to home warranty calls are working the system in their favor. Use at your own risk.
