We have a service contract with Middleton. Our a/c was running fine. We had the annual service performed end of June, then the upstairs unit stopped working a few days later as we were leaving for vacation. We paid someone to be at our house to meet the service person while we were away, and the service person came out and charged us $327 for the repair. We just got in from vacation and it's 96 degrees upstairs - the a/c is not working. We called Middleton and asked for someone to please come out and fix the problem that we had already paid to be repaired while we were away, only to be told it would be sometime tomorrow before they could get someone to take a look at the issue. Meanwhile, there's a heat index of 105, and the service contract I've been paying for nor the $327 repair I paid for this week seem to be reason enough for them to stand by their service agreement. We called Airco, and they are sending someone out today to fix the problem so we don't have to go to a hotel.
We were sweltering after our AC stopped working. Called Middleton and they promptly came out to evaluate we needed a whole new Air/Heat system. Julian French, Alex Vinson, Joseph Gaskins and Bill Gray showed up to our house on time. Explained the procedure and got to work. All were very professional, nice and charming. All I can say is we are sitting here now enjoying our new A/C and very happy. Thank you Middleton...!
David Grant is my overall service guy for Middleton and does a great job! I’ve used several different heating and air companies over the years and have settled on Middleton because of the quality of their personnel and service.
I haven't used the HVAC side of the business but I'm more than happy to give the shop end of the business a solid 5 stars. Jimmy Elrod is EXCELLENT to work with. I brought my utility trailer to them to get some upgrade work done. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I couldn't be more pleased.
The maintenance agreement for the system I purchased has been a disappointment. I was promised a spring service and a fall service, but have never been able to schedule these until into the summer and the winter seasons. This year’s spring service was scheduled for June but they moved it to the end of July due to an increase in new installations. They need to focus on serving existing customers first. I will not recommend them.
Khary was my technician and he did an amazing job! He was punctual, respectful of property/family, and great at communicating. He serviced the unit and showed me/talked me through everything that needed attention. Thanks again Khary!
Really impressed with Middleton’s service!! Damon was very knowledgeable and friendly and let me know exactly what needed to be addressed. Highly recommend this company.
Wes is one of the most kind and wholesome individuals I've ever met. If you're lucky enough to have him as your tech, he will treat you like family and treat your property as if it were his own. Wes answered all of our questions in a manner that put our minds at ease. He has exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you for the extraordinary service.
I have made several calls to Middleton and RONNIE HUMPHREY. He has always gotten me taken care of ASAP. We had to have a new system installed and they were quick to respond. We had to have maintenance done at one of our other homes and they were there quickly. My sister and neighbor had to have new systems installed and I referred them to Ronnie Humphrey and he had them up and running in a day, now that’s service. My dad’s system went down today, he is an at home hospice patient, I called Ronnie Humphrey and he was able to get a technician out there within 30-45 minutes. If you want great customer service and a customer friendly representative then Ronnie is your guy. Would I recommend Ronnie and Middleton, you betcha. I wouldn’t call anybody else. Thank you Ronnie Humphrey and thank you Middleton, he is probably the “BEST ASSET” you have.
THIS RATING IS ONLY FOR THIS SERVICE CALL. I’ve been using Middleton Heat & Air for 4+ years and have never had an issue, but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with today's turn of events. I had all my units checked and serviced in April as I have done the last 4 years and everything checked out OK (or so says the service summary). Fast forward 3 1/2 months (mid-July) and over the last 3 weeks a bedroom mini-split has been slowly losing cooling effectiveness. Fearing a faulty unit or low refrigerant I had a service call performed in the hopes it would be the latter. The good news is they came the same day and within a couple of hours of placing my request and found the refrigerant was low by 4 oz. The bad news was that despite having had the unit serviced 3 1/2 months ago, they did not give me a break on either the service call or the refrigerant: Service Call $80; and 1-lb of refrigerant $59 despite only needing 4 oz. After tax, my bill was $151. I believe in capitalism and fairness, but I was raked over the coals! As a minimum, the service call should have been waived! I pay north of $450 annually to have my units checked! So why is it that less than 4 months later I need a service call and the unit is 4 oz low? The unit is 4 years old and has never needed refrigerant … what level of service did I receive during my scheduled maintenance in April? From where I’m sitting, not very good. Will shop around for other HVAC providers before my winter renewal.
