Service tech, Richard Rustin, arrived on time and did a comprehensive check of our heating system. Richard was very professional and personable.

If you don't want to read this whole long review, I'll just say this; hire these guys, you won't be sorry.

Our home is over 35 years old and as an "older" home (by AZ standards) has some issues. We noticed what looked like what might be potential water leaking through an upstairs drain to a downstairs ceiling and based on other issues with the home we'd had, assumed the worst.

We called Hays based on a recommendation from a restoration company we'd worked with for a previous issue. Hays schedule us for the soonest appointment they had which was the next business day. The next morning their tech was able to finish their previous appointment early, so Hays called to ask if they could come earlier. This might seem normal, however after having many home visits lately between flooring, roofing, and other repairs and upgrades to our home, it's become clear "time windows" don't mean anything to most companies anymore, they come when they want whether it's early or late and they rarely give you updates without you calling to ask where someone is. Not Hays. They asked if they come early, not just showed up. There was no pressure either way which was refreshing to say the least.

Once their tech arrived he was very thorough in checking both the area we were worried about downstairs on the wall/ceiling and the shower/tub we thought the leak might be coming from. The tech tried his hardest to find a reason to do the job but at the end of the day put our minds at ease that there was no detectable water leakage.

Not only did the tech spend the time and explain all of this to me, he went above and beyond showing me the movement of water through our water meter, and even after realizing there was no water running through our inside pipes when nothing was supposed to, he did the same for our irrigation and gave me recommendations on how to make sure that wasn't happening. He didn't need to do this, he could've left and been on his way, but he wanted me to have all the info I needed.

For me and I'm sure most others, the worry is always "will I be taken advantage of by these guys" when you bring anyone out to look at or fix something in your home. This tech could've easily convinced me there was a need to tear apart walls, and start the money "meter" running so to speak. Instead he was upfront, honest, and very very helpful in explaining why he didn't see a need to do so. If my tech is anything like the rest of this company (and I'm betting he is), these guys are trustworthy and professional, you should hire them.

Came home late from work to my home at 100 degrees. My dogs were so uncomfortable. I was so appreciative that Hays took my late call. Roger was at my home in less then a hour. He was professional, kind, and answered all my questions. A part had to be ordered, but Roger got my air running for the night, & was back early the next morning to fix, inspected, & cleaned everything. Thank you Hays & Especially Roger for Being so kind, & thorough.

We have used Hays for several years now and have been so happy with the service every single time. Most recently we had our AC serviced while we were away and the person who came out was so helpful and communicative, letting us know when he was coming and leaving. He also helped walk us through the details of the service plan which was a huge benefit for us. Just today we had Mitch out for a water heater flush and he was also so great. Was right on time and very friendly and helpful. Had suggestions for product we can use to help sustain the plumbing while we are away. Thank you!!

We have used Hays services twice now and both times we had excellent service from every person we had contact with from scheduling to the terrific service guys that came out and were able to quickly assess the situation and make recommendations to solve the problem. Brett installed a device today that pushes the hot water from the heater in the garage to our distant master bathroom. Randy was able to figure out the problem leading to a smell in the drains we were able to easily solve. Both of these guys are fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We have been using Hays for several years for our HVAC and have been very pleased. This is the first time we have used them for plumbing issues and were equally as pleased with Jarod and Adam when them came out this week. We had a faucet issue and they checked all our plumbing and immediately found the issue. We were in need of a new water softener. They were able to get a new water softener and install it within hours. They both were very prompt, professional and polite. We highly recommend Jarod, Adam and Hays!
