I contacted Chas Roberts about a failed thermostat. The unit is still under warranty and I was told there would be a $85 trip charge. But since the part was initial installed by Chas Roberts and under warranty I agreed to pay for the trip. When the technician arrived he told me the thermostat was bad and even though the part is warrantied I would have to pay $250 for the service !! So Chas Roberts is charging me $335 for service on a unit I could order from Amazon for $122. Very deceptive sales practice especially considering they installed the original equipment that went bad under warranty.
Very personable and friendly technician. He was very knowledgeable but it took some time to resolve the issue. I had to cancel a previous appointment scheduled due to longer service time. I am overall satisfied with Chaz Roberts and will recommend Benjamin as a technician as well. The customer service is excellent and the timing was good as well for my morning. It just took some time to resolve the issue.
These are pictures of my HVAC unit on a new build in Morrison ranch. This is my Honeywell electric air purifier. The picture is the part that supposed to come off that they sealed shut. I had to have the guy who gave the orientation scrap it off.Now months later I try to clean the filter and wonder why it won’t fit back inside correctly. Well that’s because they drilled through the unit into the track the filter slides on. The Fulton homes lady advised me to call and schedule them to repair it. I tried online and also called to get this scheduled.I was told they cannot call Fulton Homes and get a “work order” it’s my job. Not the run around I’m supposed to be doing on a house that’s brand new. I would prefer a professional install what I paid for not for me to do the running in circles however Everyone I’ve came into contact with is a nice person unfortunately highly incompetent installers on new builds…..
Alejandro was the only one that could solve the heating problem. He also took the time to go over the filters and keeping the thermostats at the sane temperature. He was knowledgeable and helpful.
This company installed a new ac unit around July 2020. It would not stay cool and would run all afternoon and late into the evening. They came out and tried to fix it in August, but it still didn't work correctly. I've been trying to get them to fix it since August 2020, and it still is not working properly. I had another company come out to look at it, and confirmed there was an issue. Chas Roberts had an appointment to fix it on April 26th, 2021 and didn't show up. They didn't even contact me.
Update on April 26, 2021: After being 8 to 12 hours late, a very nice service guy came and took care of the ac. He updated me on the progress and left. It seems like it is working, but time will tell. I appreciate the nice guy helping.
