We had Moore Heating out to our house no less than six times between last Summer and December 2018. Over that time, we paid unnecessarily for repairs that all stemmed from an initial annual maintenance in which the individual from Moore Heating forgot to turn something back on that caused water to not be pressurized and flow throughout the house. From there, we had constant issues, one of which caused a leak in the upstairs bedroom that went down to the floor level. When this happened I had to tear up all the carpet in our main bedroom and open up our wall downstairs to try to make sure everything dried up. On the most recent visit, we asked someone to come out to look at our heaters upstairs as we were fairly certain that none of them were functioning properly. He looked at them and looked at our thermostats and assured us that they were working. This did not seem right, but my wife (who was there) had no reason to distrust an expert. So we went on through the beginning of the winter supplementing our heat as we could. Later in the year, our daughter got RSV and pneumonia. We took her to several doctor's appointments and two emergency room trips where she ultimately stayed at the hospital for five days while she recovered. Her near death experience gave us both cause for concern for several factors of our current situation, especially our cold house. We brought her home to the cold house and on the next day, I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating to come over for an emergency inspection. He reviewed the current situation and very quickly determined that the heating upstairs was not working. After problem solving, he determined that the likely cause was an air pocket in the pipes that he said would have been present from when Moore Heating flushed my pipes of glycol (this was done because your team recommended it). The repair man started the process to eliminate the air out of my pipes and said that there would be a decent possibility everything was frozen. Luckily it was not and we were finally able to get heat to our upstairs level. Quality of life has been remarkably improved since then.

Due to the gross negligence, disservice, and lack of professionalism of Moore Heating, I reached out directly to them to request compensation for the amount money we spent on unnecessary and unproductive repairs as well as for the stress and damage on our house and our lives. Moore Heating never even responded with an acknowledgement or apology. I will not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone. Heating is important - best to leave this in the hands of someone you trust.

Had Moore Heating come out for an presale furnace inspection on an old furnace. Matt, the technician, was respectful and friendly and took time to explain what he was doing and why, even though I am familiar with construction. Was honest and realistic about recommending but not requiring replacement of a 35 year old furnace.

No five star. Not because of a lack of service, but because for five stars you have to bring me donuts and coffee.

My experience with Moore Heating began with a phone conversation with Dodi. Her customer service was a breath of fresh air, in a society that has moved away from treating the customer like the ones putting food on our tables. The technician that came to repair our garage heater was young and of course I wondered how long he had been doing this; but you know... people say the same thing about me. So I went with the flow and let him do his job. I was very impressed that as young as he was he showed so much confidence and professionalism. He was very proficient and knowledgeable and gave me tips to help keep things running smoothly. I was also pleasantly surprised when the invoice was less than the quote. This is one of the few online reviews I have given and I can confidently refer Moore Heating to my friends and family.

My furnace died last night and I needed to get it working again. The service truck talked me through some possible problems and I was able to determine what broke. He offered to sell me the part off his truck, but since I was in the area of the store I stopped by. It was closed, but one of the people, Kyle, offered to sell me the part I needed. He got the part, let me on to pay for it, and now I've got heat back on. Really great customer service all around! Thank you Kyle, for helping me out!

My garage heater stopped working. They of course said they were booked out for months so I had a "sheduled" after hours call. I paid $150 fir them to say they couldn't fix it. I was told the until needed to be replaced and was sent a quote for $2,000 dollars. I decided to pull the blower motor, which was only 2 screws, and bought a replacement myself for $150. These guys are preying on people's lack of knowledge and they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Technician came out on Monday because boiler had stopped working over the weekend - looked at boiler and noticed heat exchanger was leaking; told us that not worth fixing and likely warranty will cover some cost. He did not seem to be very knowledgable and seemed to have trouble explaining why the boiler stopped working in the first place. He was in the house for maybe 10-15 minutes total and we were billed for 1 hour labor which is reasonable. The technician had to send pictures and contact the boiler manufacturer to obtain warranty coverage the next day - this was also charged a full hour of labor which I think is ridiculous!
We were contacted by an estimator to look at our boiler and provide an estimate for the new boiler. He was punctual and professional and we had an estimate the next day. The estimate only had a total price; no itemization to show the cost of the new boiler, labor costs, parts, etc. Given that it had been nearly a week without hot water and they could get it done the same day we approved the cost. The installer called me around 4:30 or 5 pm to let me know they were heading to the house. By the time I was off work at 7 they were already gone and the boiler was up and running. I was very happy that the work was done so quickly. When the bill came in the mail (which I had to ask for) it was identical to the estimate. Based on the warranty refund I was able to figure out the boiler cost of $2884, so the install cost was $5681 for two hours of work! When I asked the company for an itemized invoice they said that "they don't do that."
The boiler worked well for hot water but when we turned on the heat a week later, nothing. Another service call to figure out what was wrong. This technician was on time but also did not seem to be very knowledgable. When looking at the boiler he asked me for my manual which I provided. He ended up calling another person to help him figure out what was going on. Turns out the temperature was set far too low by the installers. An easy fix and since then the boiler has been working well.
Overall the work was done well and done fast. The price was outrageous in my mind and the fact that they won't provide an itemized invoice helps confirm that there is no basis for the high prices.

My husband called and schedule and appointment with Moore Heating for a move-out inspection of our boiler. He scheduled the appointment and the lady told my husband that the technician would call before he came out to the house. I work at a dental office and can not have my phone on me during the day. I get a break and see that I have several missed calls. I checked my messages and it was the technician from Moore heating calling to see if anyone was at home. I returned their call and the guy that answered said that we would have to reschedule the appointment because no-one answered the phone to let the technician know that someone was at home. I told the guy that we would not have scheduled the appointment if we were not going to be there!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Will NEVER use them again....

Both the service tech and the duct cleaning tech were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and professional. They were on time and communicated arrivals. I will definitely use them again for routine duct cleaning and heating system maintenance!
