Shackelford Heating & Cooling

The previous owner of our home recommended Shackleford and we have been using them ever since for all our HVAC needs (over 4 years). They are always very responsive over email or phone/voice mail. They do a great job for a much better price then we were paying at a our previous home. The workers that come to the house are very pleasant and polite, and always answer my questions and make good suggestions. I recommend Shackleford!!!

The crew did a great job of installing and explaining our new equipment. There was a crew of 3 guys and they were all there during the at the end of the installation so they could answer any questions about the work. To me that speaks volumes - all 3 of these fellas literally stand by their work. Also, they were cool with my kids wanting to ask questions too. That's just nice.

We've had service done by Mike at Shackelford twice now, and both times we were extremely impressed. He takes the time to explain the issue at hand, quickly resolves the issue, and charges a fair price. When asked questions, it's clear he's giving honest responses and not trying to sell you anything you don't need. I can't recommend Shackelford Heating enough for your A/C or furnace needs.

Shackelford provides excellent service. You will work directly with the owner of the company, which is important. On time, courteous, professional and willing to take the time to answer your questions and explain things in an easy to understand way. Shackelford will always do all of my heating and I've referred them to multiple friends/clients with great feedback every time!

I've worked with Mike and Shackelford Heating for a number or years. They are extremely easy to work with. Things always seem to break at the most inopportune times, but no matter the day or time you'll get a quick response and the service you need. Whether it's been service or a replacement of a furnace or air conditioner, I've always been treated fairly. I would recommend Shackelford Heating & Cooling to anyone.

I had water in my basement that appeared to be coming from my furnace. On a neighbor’s recommendation, I called Shackelford Heating and Cooling on a Sunday afternoon. I didn’t want to interrupt their Sunday and told them I could wait until Monday but he said that he could be here in a half hour. A half hour later, the owner Mike shows up and takes care of the water. I haven’t had any water since.
I will use Shackelford for all of my heating/cooling servicing and recommend them to anyone else looking for a good heating/cooling contractor.

Mike Hoffer is wonderful to work with. He is honest, efficient and his pricing is fair. When our store had no air conditioning in 96 degree weather with high humidity - he was quick to respond. I was relieved and grateful that he fixed our system before one of our clients came in for their one on one consultation. He even spoke to our insurance company to inform them what occurred with our system. Thank-you Mike ! You will always handle our air conditioning and heating systems for our business and home. I will trust no one else.

Shout out to Shackelford Heating and Cooling out of Fitchburg for doing an amazing job. It was a remodel job but might as well have been new construction. They were professional throughout the whole process and did a super clean install. As a GC, I can say sometimes mechanical contractors don’t do it so pretty. You always get the A-team with these guys and you deal with the owner directly, which is great.

We’ve worked with Mike for many years now and and I can say he is very professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of his field. I always appreciate his honesty and the hard work he puts into getting the right product for the my needs and our clients needs. He’s very responsive when it comes to service and repair and his techs are always on time, professional, and tidy.

I can't say enough for Mike at Shackelford Heating. My cooling was not performing at my home and I planned to give them a call this week to set up a service appointment. Happened to run into Mike, mentioned the issue, and he was at my house 10 minutes later fixing the problem. Totally exceeded my expectations coming over on a Sunday. Highly recommend Shackelford Heating.
