Narrows Heating & Air Conditioning

We contracted with Narrows Heating & Air Conditioning to replace our 23+ year gas furnace. We've been very pleased with the project and the professionalism of the company. We chose a Trane High Efficiency Gas Furnace with an electric heat pump. The installation process lasted three days, our old furnace and AC unit was hauled away, everything was done in a timely fashion and completed as expected. We are very happy with the new system and glad we chose Narrows Heating & Air Conditioning for the job.

Narrows H & A/C installed a ceiling mounted split system Heatpump (A/C and Heat) unit at our home a few weeks ago. Their bid was competitive and they were helpful in assisting us in deciding upon a few options for our space. We installed this unit so that out upstairs master can be cooled down for sleeping at night so that we can leave the rest of the house at at 74 degrees at night during the summer. The unit is very quiet and it works well for the tests we did.
The Narrows team has been very professional, communications were prompt, they showed up on time, made sure not to make a mess cutting through the ceiling to do the installation, and cleaned up. Very personable team and easy to work with. If I ever need to do another project, I will use them again. Highly recommended.

Narrows removed an existing ducted gas furnace and replaced it with an electric heating and cooling heat pump system. I chose them because of price and the proposed Mitsubishi system. Plus, several years ago at a different home, they installed a ductless system. Again, I was very pleased with price, professionalism, and quality. They show up when scheduled and complete the job on time.

From the initial meeting with owner Chris Calhoun to the installation Narrows Heating was heads above the other 2 companies. Chris sold himself and his company not the product and won us over before even meeting with his competitors. On top of this, his pricing was also the best so he left no doubt on who we were going with. His capable staff meticulously installed a new heat pump, air handler and thermostat. Trane products are the best!

I appreciated the questions Chris asked me regarding how we use our furnace and any issues we had with the current system. He had multiple ideas as to how to solve the heating differential between the two floors of our house, suggesting we start with the simplest and least expensive option and then work from there as necessary. He explained all of his recommendations very clearly and offered possible upgrades but did not apply any sales pressure whatsoever.

All of my contact with this company was prompt and professional. The simple changes they implemented noticeably improved the heat flow to our upstairs.

A small family owned business. We received a very competitive bid on a new heat pump which was installed by Narrows. Installation of both the inside and outside air handling units was very professionally done displaying very good workmanship. Narrows staff are very friendly and customer oriented. I always felt like Narrows was listening carefully and responding to each of my concerns and questions.We had a small follow-up issue which was taken care of promptly. Highly recommend and would definitely use Narrows again.

Chris and his crew did a great job. We had been searching for months for a company to repair or replace our 52 year old furnace. This just happened to be in the middle of winter with no heat. We also wanted to install an HVAC system to deal with the coming heat of summer. We had several quotes that were outrageous and offensive. Even the orange big box store’ s contractor was awful. Chris came in thousands of dollars cheaper with better equipment. The instal was quick, professional, and clean. Chris did not take advantage of us when we needed heat. Thank you Chris.

Install crew was great, as well as electrical company who came to perform the work. Job finished in less than a day.

Unit was installed in December just before 18-20deg cold front coming in. We can not say enough about the Mitsubishi system. Highly recommend this brand for anyone on the fence!
