We had hot water installed two years ago and it began to leak. Called on Friday and were told that someone would be out Friday or Saturday. Nope! Called on Monday, and was told someone would be out. Someone came out Tuesday evening. Joshua was incredibly kind, but didn't have part needed to fix. Lauren, manager was called by Josh. Lauren was rude. He felt we needed to pay for them coming out and doing nothing. The lack of professionalism and customer service is unbelievable. I would not recommend Brennan to ANYONE!!!!!

I'm gathering quotes from at least three top HVAC vendors and despite leaving two voicemails for the "sales" line, I've had zero response. Great for their also highly-rated competition who simply picks up the call and schedules an appt on the spot.
Based on the ratings and the sheer amount of them, was really hopeful Brennan would be in the mix on my new whole house AC or heat pump job but chasing a vendor just to call you back on a new sales possibility doesn't spell reliable for the job.

I used Brennan to install a heat pump, add a return to the second floor, and for general electrical issues. The entire team was helpful, prompt, and professional. I will continue to use them and would recommend them for any issue.

We had our furnace replaced and ac installed on Wednesday the 27th. Worked fine for one day and completely stopped working by the 29th. I called multiple numbers multiple times and FINALLY got ahold of someone and they told me that the earliest they could send someone to look at it would be the following Monday! They said that was after they did some shifting around because if they didn’t it would have been weeks…. Completely unacceptable in my opinion! This company should be ashamed of themselves. It’s 100 degrees outside and it was becoming unsafe for our 16 month old child and 3 large dogs. My husband came across Hales. The operator was amazing bending over backwards to get us squeezed in with a tech. The tech was at our house within 20 mins, issue diagnosed in 5 and resolved the issues CAUSED by Brennan’s in 15!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRENNAN’S!
Sincerely an extremely dissatisfied veteran family.

Update: they came on 2/27 to fix all the issues and we passed all inspections afterwards! The gentleman came on 2/27 was very experienced and responsible. I guess it was really depended on which crew to come on the site for the actual job.
Frustrating! We chose Brennan for the AC installation service since we saw it worked with Costco. We thought it was a trustworthy brand and could also take advantage of the Costco rebate, so we went for it and now stuck at the project.
They set the initial installation date on 12/27/22, and we cleared all the schedule just for it. No. One. Showed. Up. And when we called the office, it seemed that they were not sure why the crew didn’t arrive either. Anyway, after another two calls, we were told that the crew was sick so needed to reschedule.
When they actually showed up after a couple of days, they completed the installation in subpar manner and the whole communication during the process was a bit difficult. Their work failed both city electrical and mechanical inspections. Especially the mechanical inspections, the inspector mentioned that he has seen quite a lot of work done by Brennan, and it could be done much better and nicer. The inspectors sent over the report to Brennan. They fixed the electrical issue quickly, but when the mechanical team came, they just checked and said they didn’t bring enough materials and left. Till now, we are still waiting for them to come back and fix it. Even though with emails and calls to the office, we never got an answer. Let’s hope we can use the AC before this summer :( , but I strongly recommend you do not choose them for your AC project.

I recommend to keep looking, and skip Brennan. They installed a tankless water heater for me, and they didn't properly isolate it from the wall it's hung on, so every time it's being used it sounds like a sports car revving in the garage. They came out several times to try and fix the issue with silly solutions like putting cork behind it, and never actually fixed the issue.
Also, apparently there are multiple options when it comes to water heaters, and there are some that keep the water hot in the pipes so that hot water is instantly available. I was not given any options, and found this out after the fact by a different company.

We went through Costco for a furnace/AC install and Brennan was the contractor they used. We recieved bids from Bob's and another local contractor with Brennan coming in at the middle of the bids but in our opinion, Brennan offered a better grade furnace and AC package so we choose Brennan for our project. I appreciated Paul and his honest approach as to what equipment we needed without upselling us yet at the same time, gave us options to consider with appropriate pricing. Paul is very knowledgable as to what he felt would work best for us and took the time to explan why. I will start this by saying that I am very picky about details so I was very involved on the install day and follow up visits where I made a list for Brennan of items to take care of. They showed up on time and where able to complete the install in a day and took care to protect the carpet and stairs covering them with drops while they worked, The install had a few hiccups such as a missunderstanding on where the lineset was to be installed on the house and a few items that neeeded adressed on the furnace on a return visit. I was nervous as to how Brennan would resolve my concerns on remaining issues but Paul followed through and Brennan took care of issues without excuses or arguments, I really appreciated the professionalism in the way Brennan resolved the issues. I gave Brennan four stars instead of five only because of miscommunication on the lineset placement on my house which couldn't be fixed. Jesus and his team where terrific in finalizing the reamining issues on the install by making sure all the details where addressed to my satisfaction. I would recommend Brennan for your heating and AC needs.

I wish I had checked out these reviews before going with Brennan to install my mini-splits. I initially had a good experience with the sales person and signed a contract to install mini splits and remove the existing boiler. The mini splits/heat pump install seemed to go fairly well. However, while the electrician was installing a new breaker switch he decided to kneel on my new washing machine and leave gigantic dents on top. The electrician's manager sent me a 700 dollar check to cover the damages though, so no big deal.
When it came time to setup the boiler removal Brennan cancelled three different times and gave me conflicting dates for the final removal. Finally, the team showed up and told me they couldn't remove the boiler without removing the wall first - seems like something that could have been mentioned at the start. Oh an a few days later, on the day of the conflicting date, one person showed up and said "I've been told there's a boiler to remove?" Obviously this one person couldn't have done anything even if the team hadn't said they needed to remove the wall first. The internal communication over there is dismal.
While still trying to figure out the boiler removal we've had a cold spell and I have found the mini split heating to be inadequate. I've called 5 times over two weeks to get someone to check things out and not received any response. While looking into possibly swapping the current heat pump for a larger unit I've also realized that the costs for parts Brennan charged me are nearly three times the cost from online suppliers.
All in all a pretty horrible experience. I'm hoping Brennan can resolve some of these issues, in which case I'll happily revise this review, but currently I would definitely recommend going with another company.
Edit - in response to Brennan reply:
I find it kind of crazy that I needed to contact the Assistant GM just to get a response on a basic service issue. In the email thread my heating issue was hypothesized to be from lack of refrigerant. So they just didn't fill it up during install? They overlooked one of the fundamental elements of a heating/cooling system? I am still waiting to hear back on setting up an appointment to get this resolved.
The 3x charge on parts was explained as incorporating labor charges, although labor was itemized separately on my invoice.

Saw the HVAC promotion with 15% cash back at Costco so decided to jump on the offer (daily cash back is 10% off). The in-home estimate was scheduled late, but their scheduler assured me that I will still be qualified for the rebate. The quote is for both installing a new AC and replacing existing furnace. I had no intention to install a new AC so the quote needed to be revised. By the time the new contract was ready for sign, I was told the window for 15% cash back is just closed. Called Brennan and left several voice messages and never received call back. There is some small issue with installation. I tried to figure out by myself but Brennon told me they will send the crew over. It has been 2 months so far and nobody has showed up.

We were a customer of theirs had a $8K or so job done back a few years ago. They were great to work with back then but now I try to call for another project but no one ever calls back. Called multiple times now, I get transferred to the sales team and leave a VM, but no one ever calls back. This might be a bad sign that they're internally having issues with their system and would not recommend a company who cannot respond to their customers at all.
