Greenwood Heating & Air Conditioning Lynnwood

Greenwood has been our Heating resource for over 30 years. About 8 years ago we contracted with Greenwood to install an upper floor air conditioning system. Then in middle-2017 we again contracted with Greenwood to replace our aging furnace. It was installed in June 2017- but never even turned on until late fall 2017. At that time, we noticed that it was very noisy. Our TV room is separated by a wall and about 15 feet from the furnace. We had Greenwood come out to help with the noise problem- whomever came said the installation was all good. So we proceeded to try to learn to live with the noise. Finally, this fall I had to resort to stuffing towels into the TV Room vent to quiet the system (no heat through that vent, of course). Then I came to the realization that this is just not right. My wife and I were prepared to do what we had to, 2.5 years after initial installation, to get the noise issue resolved. We called Greenwood, and Project Manager Jake Orton came. He immediately diagnosed the basic problem: the 6 Ton fan was producing way too much for our 1930 duct system. He found an open box 3 Ton unit and promptly swapped it out. The noise is 95% less – barely noticeable. We are very pleased. The fact that Greenwood took care of this issue way after the install date shows nothing but CLASS.Your installers, Samuel K and his assistant, notified us that the start time would be delayed- they were in transit but were being detoured because of a traffic accident. Their work was clean and professional.

Let my share something that Samuel did. He had to cut a hole in the ducting in the furnace room to access the rear of a vent shoot. When done, he cut a one-foot square piece to sheet metal to patch this access hole. After screwing the patch in, he then applied some kind of gray sealant to around the edges. This hole was in the furnace room- he could have just quickly brushed on the sealant. But he took the extra 2 minutes to use blue painters masking tape to edge-off the painted area so that when tape was pulled off, there were nice, straight lines. Minor step. But I noticed. This gave me confidence that the rest of the job was thorough- and that Samuel did not take any short-cuts. I will continue to highly recommend Greenwood.

We just had Greenwood install a heat pump in our home. They were fantastic. The initial interaction with Kyler went very well; he was very knowledgeable and informative and went over multiple options and solutions for us. The day of the install was exactly the same and just what we were told to expect. Jared and Rob did the install work. They were very neat and the finished product is great. I was impressed with how organized and tidy their service truck and workspaces were. The install went very smooth and they were very respectful of our home - we have 1 person working from home and a 5 year old also “working” from home and neither were impacted by the install. They also effectively kept the system intact enough throughout the process that our home never got chilly. Great company, great service, great employees. Thank you so much Greenwood.

We've been working with Greenwood Heating for years, to our satisfaction. We do our annual heating maintenance with them. This week Eric and Samuel from the Lynnwood location installed a new attic furnace in our home. They did an excellent job protecting our floors and paint while working. They also diagnosed missing items in our previous install and immediately ordered what was needed for a safe and complete installation. The job was completed without a problem as scheduled. We're very happy with their service.

We had an excellent experience with Greenwood. The old furnace started to have an intermittent problem which became serious after a couple of months. The tech was finally able to see the problem and presented us with several options. There was never a "hard sell" - he left the decision entirely with us. We decided to go with a new furnace which was installed the day after the tech came. The top priority for the techs and the company is to get the job done right and leave the customer happy. We just had another excellent experience with Greenwood. Less than 2 weeks after the furnace was replaced, our hot water heater gave out. I called the emergency number last Sunday and was able to get a new one installed less that two days after that. The same techs (Sam K. and Brayden E.) did the work absolutely professionally. Thanks to everyone I interacted with.

Greenwood Heating has been taking care of our system from the beginning when we moved from oil to gas. Working out each issue, they resolved and got us through the first 2-3 winters. Now, they are maintaining our system and tankless water heater regularly. We have had no issues since maintaining. Have recommended them to several friends and would recommend again and again. Very much appreciate their professionalism and service integrity.

We have been using Greenwood Heating & Air for about 3 years now for annual maintenance - always good service and easy to work with the office for scheduling. This year, for first time ever, our heat pump stopped turning on for cooling or heating, although air was still circulating. Luis came to check on it and diagnosed the problem quickly. Luis made the full repair and checked out our system thoroughly. Luis was excellent to work with, very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We're happy to be using Greenwood to keep our heat pump working great.

The installation of a new furnace, heat pump, and tankless hot water system was completed today after three very busy days. The entire crew who participated in the installation were punctual, professional, and extremely helpful. Samuel K. and Eric H. were there all day for all three days. They only left each day when everything was completed for that day and explained to us and after making sure everything was spotless. Our old home presented challenges that they attacked with vigor and skill. They kept us informed on what they were doing, got us involved when decisions were needed, and changed their plans when additional information was discovered. Their thorough, problem-solving attitude was appreciated. It was very obvious they loved their work and worked together to provide the very best installation they could. They protected our home environment from the wet weather and left the area containing the furnace and tankless water heater in much better shape than it was when the project started. Yes, I probably paid a bit more, but the confidence that the job was done correctly and with high quality more than makes up for it. I look forward to maintaining a relationship with Greenwood. Greenwood's team is very communicative and proactive in keeping their customers informed about the status of a particular service call.
