Legacy Heating in Mukilteo is a really great heating company. Last year they installed my new unit and this year they called to remind it was time for my first free annual checkup.The technician was like having a neighbor in my house, what a really good experience. Yes, I absolutely recommend Legacy One Heating for your heating needs.
This company is great. Everyone from the initial bid to the install and a recent warranty issue has been awesome to work with. All the employees we dealt with were super responsive and positive. The owner Karl is obviously deeply invested in his clients and employees. It’s great to see a company still committed to customer service and backing up their staff. Would recommend 100%.
Had a great gas furnace maintenance visit from Casey. He took his time, was thorough, friendly, and even diagnosed and fixed a wiring issue that previous visits from other companies hadn’t addressed. Also replaced my filter for free. I’ll definitely be using Legacy One again for my maintenance needs. Thank you Casey!
I had a great experience with Legacy One! I called Legacy One to service our gas furnace. The tech, Tristan, was outstanding! He was extremely polite, very knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain what he was going to do, and to answer a few questions I had. When he was done, he pointed out a couple parts that will need some attention soon, but nothing super critical. I'll definitely be calling Legacy One for any future HVAC needs.
If I could give them zero stars I would. This company is not professional at all. We called them to come and check the heating because the heater was not working properly, and the guy showed up, he came playing with the thermostat and he didn’t even know how to explain me what was wrong, he just told me he needs to call his boss to ask him what to do, because he was not able to do anything himself. His boss didn’t answer the phone and the guy waited 20 minutes for his boss to call him back. After that he told me to call another company for a second opinion and that I had to pay $200 for his trip,( they didn’t mention anything about any fees) so I didn’t know about it before. $200 for 4 minutes drive because they are located in Mukilteo where I live, just 4 minutes away. I told the guy that I will talk to office about this charge and he left. After that the general manager Michelle Pendleton contacted us saying that ,( My tech arrived, performed maintenance on the furnace and determined there is nothing wrong with your furnace) and he spent 45 minutes, and we had to pay $200, ( but he didn’t do anything at all, he just played with the thermostat and waited for his boss to call him) and if we don’t pay they will send the bill on to collections. I don’t recommend this company at all, be aware people because besides they are not professional and will not solve the problem you have, but they will also charge you for nothing.
We had good overall experience and got a really high quality system at a competitive price. I got multiple bids and Legacy was not only competitive but they were also more creative around how to install with minimal impact inside and out. Some of the other firm suggested expensive and disruptive options, and showed no willingness to be creative. They showed up in force on the day and time they said and the team was friendly, professional and efficient. System works great and the heat pump is so quite its hard to hear when running.
If I could give Legacy One zero stars. I would. This company does not even deserve a one star rating.
We signed a contract with Legacy one to get a mini split air conditioner system installed in our Town Home. Their salesman came over for an inspection and promised us he could get the work done and we paid him more than half the deposit.
After waiting for 2 months for our installation date, The installation guys showed up with a Boom Lift that did not fit or cover the height of our townhome. They said an installation was not possible & left.
We tried to reach their Salesman , who said he would look into getting a scaffolding /ladder setup instead. He promised to call back but never did. We had to repeatedly call back to reach him & finally managed to schedule another inspection.
The salesman & the owner, subsequently came over for another inspection. We suggested the use of a scissor lift. They agreed it would work & left. We agreed that the right model of scissor lift for our home would be the genie - 3246.
After waiting for another month, they finally showed up for installation with the Wrong lift model again. Instead of genie-3246, they brought the genie -3232 which did not have the height clearance to fit.
We had to print the manual for the genie -3232 to show the team how they could reduce the height & fit the lift in our space, he seemed very reluctant to get it done.
Finally, the owner decided that the lift might not fit & declared that he cannot installed the air conditioners for us.
Subsequently we kept calling the salesman-to demand a refund of the amount we paid (over 8000$) and he literally neither picked up or returned our calls. After multiple calls & emails we finally got our refund.
This company shows zero interest in getting the work done once they have your money. And equal reluctance to issue refunds.
3 months of time & effort completely wasted on Legacy One. If installation was not possible, we would have liked to know on the day of inspection itself. Their salesman, clearly has no clue on what his installation team can do or cannot do. I would never recommend Legacy One to anybody. Most incompetent company ever.
Legacy One crew was the best. From day one, of reviewing our space and what we needed, through the final day of install. Very helpful, knowledgeable. Super kind group, everyone installing and working in the office.
I work for an established company (since 1910). We had a Convertible Air Handler fail on us (during the freeze non the less). Requested 3 quotes and Legacy One was the first to reach out and provided their estimate. They reached out about a week later to answer any questions that we may have had, and we were still waiting on the other 2 quotes. Over a month later we finally received the other 2. Legacy One was within the ballpark but their customer service was light years above the others. The estimate was spot on, their crew was fast and efficient and their follow through was impeccable. Stop looking...... Legacy One is the company YOU would hire to work on your grandparents house with no worries so treat yourself the same way.
