CM Heating

On late Friday afternoon, our gas furnace was not functioning properly. I called CM Heating and was greeted by a friendly and helpful person. An appointment was scheduled for the next day--which was great. The technician, Riley, arrived and was excellent. After explaining his observations and diagnostics to me, he answered all of my questions respectfully and thoroughly. There is another well-known company that we have used for many years, and CM Heating is superior in their friendly attitude and service. The other company's representative stated that they were booked out for several days, and would not even provide an estimated service date. That service representative did not seem to care.
CM Heating will be the next call whenever we have a need for furnace maintenance or repair.

We had a new furnace installed replacing the home's original furnace that was over 20yrs old. Spencer and his crew arrived very promptly, was very friendly and professional. The install only took 3 1/2 hours.

As this is the first time I've replaced a furnace, I wasn't aware the duct test would be performed right away and the install team would have to come into the home. This was in no way Spencer's fault, rather something I believe the customer service representative should have mentioned when scheduling the install.

The first time we used CM heating was when our 25 year old, little free standing gas fireplace stopped working. I called several companies and got the same answer every time, “we don’t service or work on anything that old.”
About a week or so later I received a ad card from CM heating and it said “we repair gas fireplaces”.
I called the next day and to set up a time for them to come out and take a look. A few days later we were notified of a date and time they would be out.
John was the technician, and come to find out is a fireplace expert with many years experience and a really nice guy.
He figured out the problem, fixed it, cleaned it, and commented on what nice shape it’s in.

Now we have to address our 25 year old gas furnace. It actually was on its last leg and we also wanted air conditioning.
I called CM heating and Joe came out and did a complete walk through, he went up in the attic and looked under the house. We talked about what we wanted and he put a system together which included replacing the old furnace with a new air handler and a new heat pump. We also had them clean our ducts after everything was finished. We were prepared to get started right away since this has been a plan of ours for a few years. Joe told us what to expect from start to finish. Joe was professional, funny, and answered every question we had.

They installed everything in two days. The crew was professional, funny and knew there stuff. The installation went great, the quality and attention to detail were what you would expect when you make this kind of investment. The difference is night and day! We absolutely love our new system and feel very comfortable knowing everything was done 100% correctly.

It’s true………..”There’s No Beating CM Heating”!!

David went beyond the call of duty in solving the mystery of the gas fireplace fan. He got it working and even made me a video explaining how to use the complicated remote. And he was very accommodating to my work-at-home schedule and meetings. I am very pleased.

Charles was professional, informative, not at all pushy. After replacing the thermo couple, and thermo pile myself fireplace still didn’t work. He diagnosed the factory gas valve was faulty and replaced it on same visit mist efficiently. Top notch service, I would highly recommend!

Update: This is my 3rd update. I needed a lot of work done but scheduling was not able to get things in on one visit because teams are already pre scheduled prior to my visit. I had Tim Johanson come out for sheetrock and door creation work. As before he was very clean and neat. He did a great job for my task. I got to ask him questions and learned a few things related to his visit today. It’s really convenient to have a HVAC company do the installation work and have a handy man do Sheetrock, etc. This way you don’t have to deal with more people. The best part of my visit today was I explained what I wanted and set expectations based on the bid done earlier. Great job CM Heating!

CM Heating had to come out a second time to finish additional work that couldn’t fit in the first appointment. This was because a second cold air return, additional duct work was needed to get my heating and cooling properly working. The guys were great. No mess, no dirty carpets and on leaving and wonderful work. Now my master bedroom is much warmer with warmer heat and better air flow coming from the floor vents. My static air pressure went from 0.55 to 0.34 and my cold air return causes a Kleenex tissue to get pulled into the cold air return from maybe 3 inches rather than 1. Of course my system has a variable speed fan. Before the team left they cleaned up, nailed my garage wiring in place on my ceiling and fastened some sheet metal that was loose prior to their visit. These guys are great 👍🏻

Earlier review: Lyle and Chase came over. We don’t wear shoes in the house to reduce dirt on our new carpet. They arrived and took off their shoes. Amazing. We went over ideas for improved air flow. It was good because we were at the center of the discussion talking with advisors. We still have to talk more. I would highly recommend CM Heating because they have you understand the issues and help discover solutions in an easy to understand environment. Thanks CM Heating!

Kevin was our tech on our visit today. He was efficient and thorough. Our furnace was not producing heat but the fan would run. Their same day service was critical in a day we spent in 53° waiting for their technician to arrive. They had the parts on hand and left within the hour with repair completed, tested and verified. Kevin was awesome. I appreciate him and this company. Absolutely recommend to family and friends!

Our electrician, Dave at Goodsense Electric, referred us to CM Heating for a new heat pump, furnace and split system. We had received a couple other estimates and CM was by far the best value. The quality of service, workmanship, professionalism were topnotch. Our Customer Consultant, Scott, was very thorough and knowledgable. He didn’t try to up-sale us on anything but listened to what we needed and then provided the best options. We were impressed by all of the crew who came out for the installation; all were professional, communicative and on-time and fun to chat with. They always answered any question we had and tried to educate us on best ways to get the longest life out of our products. We won’t hesitate to utilize them for any future needs. Thank you CM-team!

Spencer and his team were on time, courteous and hard working. We had 3 mini splits installed at the lowest price of several bids. They also started the next day after bid! Very impressed with the work completed, the communication and service. Highly recommend CM Heating!

We called CM Heating for a second opinion after our furnace died on us. The first heating company we used tried to push us into either replacing the blower and motor or the entire furnace. I called CM Heating, who was available to come out and look at our furnace. When CM Heating arrived, I informed Lucas what had happened and what the other heating company told me. He told me that he'll see what he could do and after a few minutes, our furnace was up and running. Lucas informed me that the blower and motor are still in great working condition and that he may need to replace one part, which cost us 3/4 less than the other heating company. I am thankful and grateful that Lucas showed up and was able to honestly tell me what was wrong with my furnace. Thank you Lucas and CM Heating. You gained a new loyal customer today.

Update! Unfortunately, our furnace died again that same night it was serviced. I called CM Heating and informed them what happened. This time Amir showed up and started to take a look. I explained to him what Lucas had told me. After a few minutes Amir quickly zeroed down to the problem. It turned out that one of the other reasons our furnace died was a loose induction tube. After getting it up and running, Amir made sure the furnace operated right. Furnace is now running like a champ. Again CM Heat came through. Plus a big thank you to Amir!
