Alex and the team at HC we’re fantastic!
They went out of their way to help us out on fairly short notice. (And at a reasonable price!)
When a scheduling issue came up last minute, Alex and team came the night before the original scheduled time, just to make sure the work was completed, which prevented me from having to reschedule the workers for the second stage of our project.
Not only did Alex keep his word to me, he went above and beyond, and that means a lot.
I will definitely be using HC again for our heating and cooling.

Wow! That was Fast! I sent a "contact me" message and HC Heating and Cooling contacted me the next day (Friday)! They came out on Monday to give me an estimate and will be here in less than 2 weeks to install my Ductless Heat Pump. They are friendly and prompt.

Had an air conditioning unit installed in April 2020. Initial estimate appointment was detailed-oriented and the sales rep was able to recommend three options to meet my needs. Post-install resulted in the wrong stat (fixed next day) and an issue with the new stat that resulted in no heat for four days. Once that was fixed with a new stat, the problem seemed to be fixed. Since then—warm air at night and cool air in the afternoon. Exceptionally pleased with price and product. Moderately pleased with overall experience. Would purchase from HC Heating and Cooling.

I went with them since they installed our furnace and/or HVAC before we bought our house. I am very pleased with the service received today. Needed annual service and diagnostic of heating. The tech was super nice and respectful! Seemed knowledgeable. Came in, told me what the issue was right away. Paid less than what was quoted. It took about half an hour. I didn’t realize annual maintenance was so cheap. Thanks HC Heating & Cooling. I’ll be using them in the future.

I am not even sure this company is in business. I purchased a heat pump system from HC last summer. Now it is not working. I cannot get any support, not even a call back. Since it is December, cold outside, it's an emergency. But not even a call back. If you purchase anything from this company you are making a big mistake. When you need support you will end up calling another company.

More information about this company. It used have a good reputation and was called Hood Canal Heating and Cooling. Then the owner sold the company and the name was changed to HC Heating and Cooling. The new owner is a conman. He ripped me off. I had to hire another company to fix things, and I will be suing for damages.

#1, they work on Saturdays! Being a widowed mom who works full-time, this is great! I don't have to take time off work to meet someone at my house. Alex came, was very pleasant and polite and didn't blink at my kids running around like maniacs and my less-than-clean house. He pinpointed the problem quickly, and let me know how much the part and labor plus tax would be. They have to order the part, but everything is very reasonably priced and I feel confident having them repair my furnace.

Waited on estimate over 3 to 4 weeks, with 3 to 4 phone calls to office, and with 0 results on any info. Lack of communication between office, workers, to customers is horrible. Can not recommend on good faith due to poor service. Reply to owner- office stated person was sick never did estimate. Gave a week or so, still no reply; called again left info, no reply in wife's or my email. Called again and again today, individual is out hurt, still etsimate never done or received. There is no estimate in either email. Before stating in accurate facts please check with supposed client before answering questions that you don't know the answer too.

I called in the morning with a problem and they had someone out to house by the afternoon. The Technician listened to me about the what was going on and had it solved and fixed within a half hour, he even had the part with him.
Great service and will have them on speed in case there is any other issues in the future.

The person (Alex) that came to determine our problem was professional and efficient. Likewise the the installers were professional and efficient.
They could use some communication improvements. They were supposed to install on Wed. and be at our house between 10 and 11, I was coming from Seattle and had problems on the ferry and when I finally arrived at about 12:00 they were not there and didn't arrive until 1:00. It turned out they needed another part and told me they would return on Friday, early and I drove from Seattle to Tahuya on Friday arriving about 10:00 and nobody was there, but the unit had been installed. A call to let us know they were installing on Thursday would have been very helpful.

We have this company come out to service our heat pump once every two years for maintenance. Alex came out today. A very personable guy and professional. Each technician we have seen has been high quality. Have nothing bad to say. The receptionist is also very friendly and cheerful.
