In May of '23, we used Dana's to quote for, and then install, a new heat pump and air handler (replacing the existing heat pump) and we couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. We had used Dana's for regular maintenance on our old system, so we knew the company. Consumer Reports also rated American Standard equipment high for user satisfaction, which added to our reason for selecting Dana's.
An estimator came to our house first, to size up our old system and see what we needed. We received a fully detailed estimate the same day.
We accepted the estimate as provided, and installation of the new system took place only a few weeks later. Installation took about 8 hours (including some problem solving with old wiring in the house) and it looks (and works) great! Everything level, they left the work areas clean and double checked everything. The lead installer set and programmed the thermostat and walked me through all parts of the system, inside and out. Great job, professionally done.
Dave, was my repair representative today and he gave me totally superb service, along with outstanding customer service. He was quick and accurate with his trouble shooting and repair to get my system back up and running. I appreciate Dana's customer service representative also. Stephanie's quick action to schedule and follow up meant a lot to me. Thank you Dana, and know I will use your business again and recommend it to anyone I know who need service in the future.

Since we have 3 adults in the home and each has some respiratory issues...asthma, allergies, and emphysema...we are very interested. Overall we were very pleased with the service.

In May, 2023, when it got hotter, a repairmen came out to diagnose cooling system errors. He was very courteous, respectful and efficient. He discovered that the units wires were crossed and resolved the problem under warranty. We are very satisfied with this company. I did not bother to comparative shop installation based on cost, but based solely on high recommendations from family and friends.
Technician showed up in a timely manner. Work was completed professionally and results were explained completely. Technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. Cost of service was reasonable. Additional services were explained and there was no pressure to avail oneself of future services unless desired. I reached out to Dana's to get an estimate on upgrading from our old oil burner heating system to a heat pump system and they were very responsive, knowledgeable, and Roger did a very thorough and detailed estimate for us with a few different options. We were so pleased with the professionalism, the guarantees Dana's provides, and the quick turn-around on being able to do the installation that we decided to move forward with the estimate. Will update the review with more details after they complete their work.
Update: Dustin and his install team did a fantastic job installing our new heat pump! It was a bug job to get our old oil heater out and the new equipment in but they took great care in avoiding unnecessary cuts into the walls/ceilings to run the new electrical wiring and the lines for the outside unit. There were some initial concerns about the placement of the outside unit as well but they made it work the way we wanted and we're very happy with how it turned out, and most of all happy that we'll have a cooling system for the summer now.
I also want to mention that they have their own electricians in house and Dakota did an amazing job getting the new wiring done and connected to the central breaker box.
Overall an A+ experience in my book. It's no wonder the old service stickers on our furnace went back to the 1980s!
Mr. Doyle was an excellent Dana's Representative. He was very kind to this 82 yr old. He answered all my questions so I understood. He took time to make sure I followed his reasoning. Our heater is in the attic and he took the time to show my grandson where the filter is replaced. I could not be happier with his services. Don't lose him as he is a real asset to Dana's Heating.
