HC Heating & Cooling

I had an 11:00 appointment with them, which traffic prevented me from getting to on time so I called to ask if they could move it to 11:30. At 11:30 nobody had arrived. At 12:00 nobody had arrived, so I called and asked what was going on. They said the tech was at another job. At 1:00 still nobody showed up. Nobody contacted me to let me know. If you can't reach out to a customer when you're two hours late, you're not getting my business.

We had them out for an estimate. They called back with the final quote, emailed the proposal as well. We paid a large deposit for a new heating system on Oct 10th. They told us the equipment was stuck on a ship waiting to be unloaded so it would be a few weeks, but they said they would keep us posted. We didn’t hear anything so I called a month later and I spoke to their administrative office who said they would have someone call back. I received a brief email Nov 24th stating they still had not received the equipment, but that they expected to receive it and start installing mid-December. The email was signed “HC Heating and Cooling Team”. Since then I have emailed that same email address asking the status, with no response. I have also called numerous times for weeks throughout December and now January and the phone just rings and rings or picks up and disconnects immediately. I have tried from different numbers as well and had other people try. I have called the numbers for all of the locations too - nothing. It’s like they don’t exist anymore. My husband and I drove down to the physical addresses listed in Gig Harbor and Tacoma only to find that the Tacoma address is an office bldg where HC heating rents a conference room on an appointment only basis, but nobody was there except a building person. The Gig Harbor address is an event planning store where they were sorry to say that other people have also come looking for HC Heating before. This is a scam, I don’t know what happened to the company, but they have over $6k of our money and have gone MIA. BEWARE!!

Our air conditioner went out during hot weather and their response time was great. The technitions, Jason, Billy, Ken, and Chris, were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Tanya, the office manager, was so friendly and accommodating on the phone, as was Cole who worked hard to get us what we needed quickly. We highly recommended HC Heating and Cooling without reservation!

Shawn headed up an excellent crew. On time, courteous and professional. They stayed late to finish the job and responded immediately to clear up a couple small issues. Very impressed with the entire organization.

Our furnace expert Shawn was, on a scale of 1to 10, a 20!! HC Heating & Cooling is the most customer oriented and they actually care about people.
We just moved here from another state and bought a home. Our first night here our furnace didn't work at all on a night that was in the 40's. We called this wonderful company and they couldn't come until the next day, but brought over some space heaters for us for the night!! OUTSTANDING!!

Shawn was very professional and on time . He had to put 3 lbs of liquid in the pump and said there was slow leak . Told me it needs to be observed by crew to find the leak . Will tell the office about it so it could be scheduled. Didn’t give star rating because still waiting to see if this is covered under warranty and a follow up by H/C office .

Sean & his assistant corrected the badly installed ceiling air ducts by installing brackets that would tack down the ducts and give the registers something to be screwed into.

They did a good job as far as I could tell and were friendly and professional.

Alex offered professional and excellent service. He was able to trouble shoot and diagnose difficult problems. I highly recommend him.

Great service and very fair pricing. My service tech was very informative to me and fixed the issue with my furnace quickly. I was very comfortable with the service and quality of work they provided.
