Jeremy did a very professional job at my house. He first came to inspect my existing water heater, and we discussed options for a replacement. He scheduled a time with me for my convenience for the installation of the new water heater. He arrived as promised and installed my new water heater in the time frame promised. I highly recommend Jeremy and A-1.

I don't remember the Technician's name but he was courteous and very professional. I had a problem with downstairs toilet filling up properly. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly. He went to the trunk and got the replacement part. He told me that the fill valve was defective. He replaced the part quickly without issue. The toilet issue was resolved in about fifteen minutes. I appreciated his expertise. He also educated me about Tank-less water heaters. This something I might consider in the future. Thank you A-1 American Services.

I called the office at 12:14pm because my air conditioner went out the night before. Joe was the technician that showed up to my home around 3:30pm the same day. Joe was not only very professional but knowledgeable about his job as well. Joe explained to me not only what the issue was but how to prevent it from happening in the future. Joe further explained the importance of using the proper filter and what will happen if the freon gets low. Joe was very positive and pleasant as he explained all of these things. Very few people understand the important of giving fantastic customer service not because their position requires it but it's a personal expectation. Joe clearly demonstrated that he strives for giving excellent professional and customer service. Not only will I use A-1 American Services for any future service issues I may have but I will recommend you to anyone needing pleasant and professional service. A leaking Water Main Line under the crawlspace was causing me a real headache, not to mention a rising water bill. I called the A-1 Emergency Line and within 2-hours, they were at my front door. What professionals... courteous, easy o talk to, and very knowledgeable. They provided a written estimate and explained the entire procedure for the replacement. I also acquired two additional quotes from two other competitors, but A-1's professionalism and price won the day. They arrived the next morning, and they completed the job in a timely manner. I must say, that if A-1 American relies on their technicians to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction, they get A-plus in all categories. Job WELL DONE!

Last week my kitchen sink disposal was clogged and I called A-1 office and was very pleasantly surprised to hear that someone would be out within a few hours. The reason I called honestly was because of all the commercials I have seen over the years. I really didn’t know who to call so I decided to take a chance on A-1 American. Jeff and Randy were great! They worked really hard to unclog my sink and when the clog would not clear using all the normal methods they started trouble shooting. They identified the problem and fixed it quickly. They were professional, courteous and personable… and cleaned up when they finished. I also was impressed how well they worked together as a team. I can honestly say the commercials are correct! A-1 American rocks!

Called to A-1 American to get my AC fixed, was not blowing cold. Was told there was a $78 fee for the technician to show up but that it would be rolled into the cost if they did the work. Long story short.... the problem was a capacitor, $20 electrical part. It took the technician about 30 minutes to fix, and he was on his cell phone for a good part of that time. Total cost $378....way overpriced. When I called back the next day to get my bill explained.... Penny was very rude and told me because I had already paid and signed my receipt I was out of luck. I would never use this business again. Check out the Better Business Bureau page on A-1 American... I don't even think they have received all those Pilot awards that are in all their advertisements. Very over priced, and rude on the phone when I tried to get my bill explained.

We called A-1 American when our guest bathroom toilet began to overflow and would not stop! This is the only bathroom downstairs, and was going to be getting a lot of use the next day as we were having my daughter's 16th birthday party with 30 guests coming! We did not have time for plumbing issues at all as we were preparing for the party. We called A-1 American and we had Ron here within 30 minutes. Ron was polite and very professional, and started on the job right away. Larry arrived 30 minutes later as they needed larger equipment to fix the problem. Ron and Larry had our problem fixed within an hour, much to our relief. Both gentlemen were very helpful, and knowledgeable and explained to us how they had fixed our issue. I would most definitely use A-1 American again!

My heating system failed after 27 years. I called A-1 American for service (same company/same service technician who replaced my A/C unit 6 months before). Jake installed a new unit in less than half a day. Brand is Goodman. It works great. Lots of safety features. Now I don’t have to go up and down the attic to turn on/off the pilot light. Price quoted before installation is the price I paid. No extra charges for any incidental expenses during installation. Thank you Jake and thank you A-1 American

Requested A-1 American to come and check our water heater for a minor gas leak. Paid $78 for technician to come and give details about repair. Price to replace was higher than any business around. They needed my credit card number to prepare for possible parts ordering to repair. During the midst of crawling around the attic with him he had me sign a paper supposedly to charge for their visit. Next day I see $600 charged to my card. Got quote by phone for an extreme amount to replace the unit so I asked them to cancel the job. They charged me another $60 to cancel. Beware of A-1s extreme rates and be sure to read the fine print on anything you sign. They should change their name to Z-1 UnAmerican! So let me see now. I paid $158 to A-1 American to do absolutely nothing?

What a pleasant and professional experience from the start. Phoned A-1 American and spoke with Candy, very kind and professional. I explained my problem and she said a technician would be calling me to let me know of arrival time. Technician Larry phoned 30 minutes prior to arriving. Once he arrived he quickly assessed the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price. We were having an issues with our AC unit not cooling our house. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and educated me on some heating an cooling tips i was not aware of. I'm glad I called these professionals! Larry was very kind and helpful!
I would highly recommend them to anyone!
