We have been Vernon Platinum members for many many years. We have purchased several replacement systems for our home from them.

Recently we were informed that there was a recall for our Carrier furnace heat exchanger. Carrier would pay for the part but we would have to pay for the installation. We were originally told that due to the complexity of this replacement that could take up to 8 hours the cost for service we would have to pay is $1,500.

The service technician just completed the replacement in a little over 2 hours. The hourly cost for this replacement is ~$750/hour!!! I have never paid close to that for any service ever in my life.

I am currently on hold with Carrier to see if I can get any relief from them. This does not seem right that I have to pay for something that was a defect from the manufacturer, especially at such a high cost.

I feel like I have been taken here.

Everything in our mechanical closet was replaced and maintained by Vernon. They are efficient, economical and knowledgeable about heating and air conditioning and water heaters. I can trust that they will not hose us and they take the time to explain everything.

John Beardsley, Senior Field Specialist, came to do a tune up for my furnace today. He was very professional and trustworthy. He was thorough and provided excellent information on what needed to be done to our unit. We ended up deciding on replacing the unit because of John's sincere and thorough assessment. I appreciated having someone I knew I could trust. We had used Vernon in the spring for our AC tune up and had a great impression of their business then too. But John really blew us away in his customer service and expertise.

Parsa came to do the AC and Heating system maintenance, He has done a terrific job by providing clear explanations and excellent services. I am very impressed with his outstanding service and highly recommended.

Parsu was through and effecient in checking the heating system, checked the thermostat and made sure there were no water leaks, and the humidifier was working. Very friendly. Excellent service.

Sean Stallings is a real pro. Explained everything. Was thorough and efficient.
