Mike Prater came today to do a preventive maintenance and safety inspection our air condition system. In performing his inspection, which was very thorough, Mike found a crack in our heat exchanger. Although difficult to see, Mike pointed out the crack and explained that he would have to red tag the furnace and turn off the gas, which he did. He explained that we needed to replace our furnace. He also recommended that we replace our aging air conditioning unit, which while operating, had many problems.

Mr. Prater was very thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. He explained what red tagging the furnace meant. He was very easy to talk and answered all our questions. He said that Vernon would welcome our business and gave us some suggestion on the heating and air condition unit that would meet our needs. He explained Vernon's 10 point warrant, workmanship, and low price , guarantee. It was easy to see that Mike was highly skilled and professional. Importantly, Mike portrayed himself in a manner that conveyed honesty and trust.

I have been a customer of Vernon Heating and Air for many years but I have never taken the time to write a review ...until now. Their awesome technician, Mr. John Beardsley, made a routine service call to our property this morning and I was so impressed with him that I wanted to share my experience with others. He was prompt, efficient and professional. He found problems quickly and took the time to explain options. He was very knowledgeable and responsive to all of my inquiries. 5 Stars!!

Our outside unit was most likely struck by lightening on Sunday night. John B. (comfort advisor) arrived Monday morning. Tony K. & Richard D. arrived by Tuesday morning to install our new HVAC (inside & outside units). All men were professional, trustworthy and hard working! We appreciated the job that they did! Thank you! We've been Vernon customers for more than 10 years.

Vernon replaced my heat pump system. John came out the same day that I called to inspect and give an estimate. He answered all my questions and together we decided on a great new system. Install was scheduled for two days later. Zach and Brian came on time, dressed professionally and installed the new system, cleaned up afterwards, and walked me through everything that they did. When they realized that they needed a new part to fit my system, another employee came within 15 minutes to deliver it. Overall a great experience end to end.

What a great company! This fall visit is the second time for servicing by Vernon of our heating and air conditioning system since purchasing our home. Both visits were prompt, efficient and courtesy. I am very pleased with the service I received from Vernon Heating & Air Conditioning. I called this morning because my oil furnace wasn't working and they sent a technician out within a few hours. Mike is professional, thorough, and is great at explaining everything to the homeowner. It turns out that we need a new furnace (Mike took the time to show me the various issues), and Vernon is able to schedule installation for tomorrow.

The appointment process was easy and they did it all by email, per my request. The technician came on time, was professional, and said nothing about how cluttered my house is. He worse a mask without my asking. He performed the service requested without pressuring me to add things on. He explained the recommendations that he would put on the invoice but again without any kind of hard sell. I would certainly use them again.

Just had a new furnace put in the house we rent today and have to say that the gentlemen that installed the unit, Brian and Zach were awesome! Prompt, courteous, friendly, professional, efficient and thorough. After the install, they took the time to explain everything and ensure we were comfortable with the new unit before they departed.
